I don’t normally write while eating but made this exception today. This is by far the worst Chick-fil-A experience. I should’ve read the reviews before visiting. The place is dirty, the food sucked. My sandwich was not what I ordered and paid for. And when I got what I ordered, the buns were cold. My food was served in a bag not a tray, even though my order was to eat in and was giving a table marker. Waited long for the food and then waited some more for the correct order, although the place wasn’t crowded or busy. If this was my first visit, it would’ve been my last. But because I know the Chick-fil-A standards, I’ll consider this visit never happened.
Was so tempted to find the manager and speak to him or her, but then I don’t normally say a thing when I’m this upset, most likely I’ll say the wrong thing. Besides, I’m sure the manager can see the surroundings clearly. Didn’t wish to post pictures of my miserable meal or how unclean the place “I’ll just leave it to your imagination”. I only posted a picture of the location.
I’ll be in town for a few more days but will make it a point not to ever stop by again.

The people working here are all very nice and doing their best. Food is always great. But there are some serious issues with the drive thru line structure. I have never been to a slower CFA drive thru and I’m used to going to ones in Downtown Atlanta that can get 5x as many people through in a quicker time. There are some logistical issues going on here. Part of it is how horrible the layout of the drive thru and parking is. But it also seems like there are some other issues. You get your order here and you’ll be stuck 5 cars back and have to wait to get out. I never get out of here without my food being cold.

It bothers me when I pay for something and don’t get what I pay for. So I ask to speak with the manager and all I get is the manager out sick… This location in Decatur Alabama has really hit rock bottom.When they first opened it was a good place to eat nice and clean.But over the year’s the manager don’t care about nothing but a pay check… Only in the Decatur Alabama. Every last restaurant around the Decatur sucks. They will never be like Athens or Madison or Huntsville…

Currently 8pm 12-22-25 I’m currently in the parking lot and it’s lacking. I’m not sure if they are understaffed tonight but me waiting in a chicfila line for 30 mins ain’t normal. I came here for quick service not fast food.

This company has got it down pat. Great tasting fast food with the exception of fast. The service is great, super polite. The only complaint is the time you wait in line. Everyone loves their food so you get there and sit in a wrap around the building queue. it feels like going to a regular restaurant.

If you doordash for a living do not accept orders from this restaurant. They will mark the order as ready for pickup but the order in fact will not be ready. This causes you’re doordash stats to be skewed due to their incompetence. If the order is not ready for pickup do not clear it from your screens. Do your job correctly or find another profession

Usually I love Chik fil a service. But this morning I went through the drive through, paid for my order, they had pull up because of a biscuit that needed pepper jack. I pulled up with three cars behind me, each car paid for their food, and went on by their day. I waited and was patient several minutes until I got out of my vehicle, asked the person handing out the food what was going on! Looked me in my face and said I did not know which car it got left on the counter, but sorry about that! Not okay, from a loyal customer’s point of view !!!

I used the mobile app for ordering for the first time. The process was easy and I could see myself using it another time.
The drive-thru was wrapped around the building, I’m assuming due to the dinner rush. So my 10 yr old niece told me about the mobile app and I was pleasantly surprised.
My order came up shortly and while eating an employee came to the table to see if we needed anything.
Also, my daughter was young enough to play in the play area so she enjoyed that!
