I’ve always believed that where you choose to get your morning coffee and breakfast sets the tone for your entire day. It’s a small ritual, a little act of self-care before the world really gets going. For that reason, I’ve often chosen Chick-fil-A, a place I associated not just with food, but with a promise of kindness and good service.
That’s why my experience this morning was so profoundly disappointing.
From the moment I approached the temporary counter in the parking lot I was met with a palpable wave of negative energy. The employee who took my order was extremely professional but her associate was dismissive, short, and frankly, very rude. There was no warmth, no “my pleasure,” no basic courtesy—just a cold transaction that made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest. I parked my vehicle in reverse parking so it’s safe to leave the parking. This male associate came and told me he will not take my order next time if i park reverse .
I didn’t get it, however I felt he was not happy by looking the quality of french fries he served. Attached pictures will speak loudly. I told him I will never come back to your place. He said that is better.
I didn’t just spend my money on a chicken sandwich combo ; I spent it on the hope for a positive start. I paid for a feeling as much as I paid for food. Instead, I was given a heavy dose of frustration and sadness that I carried with me long after I left.
It’s a terrible feeling when a place you count on for a little bit of brightness instead becomes a source of gloom. That interaction, as brief as it might have been, cast a shadow over my entire morning. It’s heartbreaking when the expectation of warmth and good service is met with such coldness.
I hope management understands that for many of us, this isn’t just about fast food. It’s about the experience. And today, that experience truly ruined my day.
I sincerely ask for refund of my money and employee gets additional training.
I am not sure why this Chick Fila opens at 6! It should open at 610. Employees and leaders will not move, turn lights on and remove barriers until 0600. By the time this is done customers are not being served until 0605. By them lines are circling around the building and blocking the exit for the drive through. It becomes a standoff for either selfish behavior or poor leadership. 5 minutes can make the difference to the customer. I cannot imagine that this would cost the operator a huge amount. Ministry is sacrificial and ministers to others without saying a word. This is either a mandate by leadership or a reflection of the heart of all who work here.
my only critiques are that the condiments had sticky residue on them, so my friend who I was introducing to chic fil a the first time had to wash his hands four times.
also, he ordered a diet pepsi, but was given a water instead, so i needed to ask for that to be corrected.
In the last month though that seems to have declined. Maybe I’ve been spoiled by mobile ordering.
When we go through the drive through, which is about once a week, without mobile ordering ahead they have gotten my order wrong 4 times.
Missing items or wrong items each and every time for the past 4 weekly trips. It’s super frustrating. I order two meals, pretty standard meals with no modifications and somehow it is always mine that is messed up. I can no longer rely on them to be accurate and must now pick through my bag to make sure everything is right and even taste my drink to ensure it is correct.
