Today our Chicken Sandwich was missing the CHICKEN. This is the worst Chick Fil A in the Cape Fear Region. Every order we have placed there in the last 4 months has been a horrible experience from missing straws to missing food to receiving someone else’s orders.We’ve been avoiding this location and driving out of the way to go to Wilmington, but took a chance today. At first we were hopeful bc a manager asked if we had been asked something by the guy taking our order and said he would give him more training for the future. At first the order looked good so we drove away. Then one of our drinks ended up being a diet instead of a regular so we drove back for a replacement. When my husband went in, the girl at the counter was very rude and he was told they had just cleaned the grilles and asked what they wanted him to do. He said he wanted the drink he ordered and she gave him a new drink reluctantly. We drove off again and were too far to drive back when he discovered that there was no chicken in his sandwich! We did go on the app and get a credit, but things are so bad at this location that I feel like people need to be warned. It’s like there are no adults at this location. On previous visits, we’ve had to wait on teenage employees to finish conversations before getting our food. On one visit, about five employees came out to visit with the car in front of us and hug the driver. We were getting one of the signature lemonades and watched as one of the associates stood by the car conversing holding our open cups with the strawberry shots in them. He talked about five minutes before going inside and adding ice and lemonade to the cups.
On another occasion, I was given someone else’s order. It was customized so I bet they weren’t happy to have gotten my order. The associates didn’t even apologize. She giggled.
Literally everyone I talk to has a bad story about this location.
Corporate needs to step in and take over the Leland NC location for the sake of their reputation.

I ordered a market salad and half of the lettuce was rotten. When I asked for a fresh salad I got the same rotten lettuce. The first picture is the first salad and the second picture is what I pulled out of the second salad.
I quit coming here for a while because the quality of the salads have gotten so bad. I decided to give it another chance and I can see that was mistake! I guess if you want fresh, don’t come here!

Nothing really terrible about this location. But they skimp on the fries EVERY time. I don’t write reviews, but I feel like I should just because without fail they short the fries. Every other location when I order a large fry it’s full. At this location when comparing between medium and large it’s literally the same exact amount. Why am I paying for a large fry when I’m getting a medium. It would be okay if it once one or two times. But I’m talking every time. 10 times. 15 times. Never right.

every time i’ve been to this location my order is messed up. I can’t have dairy and i ordered a sausage egg muffin no cheese and said no cheese twice. it came with cheese so then i went inside and waited about 15 mins for a new one just for them to use the same english muffin and wrapper that still had cheese melted into it. the staff is nice but that’s the only good thing i have to say about this location.

I went here and the food was excellent but the max and cheese was a little bit cold. They have the best ice and I love crunching on it. It is so tiny and crunchy but they did not add enough in the cup. The atmosphere was a little dusty but overall clean. Chicken was good and so was the fries. Price was pretty average for 2025 and the service was good but the employees looked a little sad. Overall pretty good.

This location sucks. We waited forever. They literally finished five orders before giving us ours and our order was super small for two people. Mac & cheese and two orders of grilled nuggets and two drinks and they didn’t give us any forks. They also only gave us one straw. And didn’t even put the lid all the way on the nugget so they were falling off into the bag.

It’s everything you expect from Chick-fil-A. The real draw here is the indoor playplace, which is unique from the typical fast-food playground. Our kods loved it.

I understand that this Chick-fil-A recently faced the tragedy of losing an employee, but unfortunately, this is the second time in 10 days that my order has been prepared incorrectly. The first issue was with my 10-piece chicken minis, where the bread was broken up, making it hard to tell if there were 10 pickles, and the entire meal was too messy to eat. The second time, instead of the sweet tea I ordered, I received either diet lemonade or soured tea—I’m not sure what it was, but it definitely wasn’t what I asked for. Since my order is delivered to my work, it’s difficult for me to go back for a refund. This has been really frustrating, and I just wanted to share my experience.
