The food itself is your typical mediocre chicken sandwiches, other than the deluxe, there’s nothing appealing about the other (overpriced) choices…
And that breakfast biscuit was so deliciously flaky.
ETA: I was in the drive thru line for 20 mins for my mobile order. Someone in the mobile order line decided to make a cash purchase, which held up the line (taking the order and providing change for the cash transaction). They were two cars ahead of me. Once that was completed, I scanned the qr code, I get to the window and received a call/text telling me my order was dropped, causing more delays. I asked if I should come inside but they said my order would be out soon. I noticed they added a brownie to my order (as a gesture for the wait, I assume). Changed from 1 star to 2 stars and fixed typos.
The drive-thru is efficient and food and service has always been great. The dine-in was a different experience, visited a couple times and one of the associates taking orders to tables seemed to have trouble figuring what was ordered, who ordered, etc.
The interior first floor is usually really busy but the second story offers plenty of seating and a neat outdoor balcony.
I visited this Chick-fil-A location today while I was in the area near the recreation center. Although this is not my usual location, I decided to stop in to purchase lunch for my son and myself. Unfortunately, the customer service we received was among the worst I have experienced at any Chick-fil-A.
As a former Chick-fil-A employee from my high school years, and knowing the company’s values and standards, I was especially disappointed. The drive-thru employee identified herself as Ivy Johnson. Throughout our interaction, she appeared visibly unhappy, frowned the entire time, and was not welcoming.
I was asked to pull aside to wait for my order, which I understood since I requested unsalted fries. However, I was instructed to park near the Chick-fil-A van despite there being no available parking spaces in that area. As a result, I had to park in an unmarked spot.
When Ms. Johnson brought out my order, she continued to frown, handed the food to me in a very abrupt manner, and mumbled what I assume was “have a nice day,” though it was barely audible. The interaction felt rushed, dismissive, and unprofessional.
I understand that employees can have difficult days, but this experience was a poor representation of Chick-fil-A’s customer service standards and values. Because of this interaction, I do not plan to return to this location.
