A good place to stop for comfort food in the Harper’s Ferry Area
As of mid-2025, there are over 3,200 Chick-fil-A restaurants across the United States and about 23 in West Virginia. This location is one of those 23. It is about 15 minutes to the west of Harpers Ferry. I have visited many of their locations across several states and I am always impressed with their consistent service, cleanliness, food quality and tea. For me it is comfort food (and drink). We stopped by the Chick-fil-A near Harper’s Ferry to pick up food for a family event. It was straightforward to get to with plenty of parking. The place was very clean and the staff were, as always, friendly. We ordered mac and cheese, chicken strips, brownies, market salads, and tea and lemonade for the group. Everything was prepared quickly when we arrived, with them giving us items as they were ready so loading the food in the car was easy. We originally thought that we ordered too much food but we were definitely wrong as there was nothing left after the event. It was delicious and well received by all of our crew. Overall, it was the pleasant experience that I have come to expect from every restaurant in the chain that I have visited.

This is my favorite chick fil a in all of my surrounding states. The employees are wonderful and offer fast service everytime. The food is always hot and fresh when it comes out. This location never has long wait time, great for any time of the day or night.

Today is Monday, January 12, 2026, time is 6:50 PM. I just left the Ranson Chick-fil-A location, went through the drive-through and although they were vey busy, staff was friendly and attentive, even apologetic which was unnecessary. It’s Chick-fil-A, America’s favorite fast food restaurant, of course they’re busy at this time of day – they even gave me a free cookie for the five minute wait. This location is hands-down the best in the area. They have the Martinsburg location beat 30 times over, thanks for being awesome.

I usually enjoy coming to this Chick-fil-A because the team members are always so positive and welcoming, but today’s experience felt different. One of the workers didn’t seem happy to be there serving customers. She signaled me to move forward with an annoyed expression, even though there was no space to do so without hitting the car ahead, so I stayed in my spot. When she came to my window, she didn’t greet me and spoke in a harsh tone. After I gave my order, she walked away while NODDING her head. At the pickup window, all of the other workers were wonderful as usual, it was just this one team member who didn’t reflect the positive attitude Chick-fil-A serves.

The drive thru is efficient, but always seems to bottleneck. I think the staff outside need to alert drivers who they are supposed to follow behind. I visit this Chick Fil A at least once a week and have yet to have a fully smooth transaction

Do not come inside to make an order. They will not ask you if you need help. Or if you want to order. 3 different people walked by me and didn’t say a word. This was for 5 minutes and no one was in line except me.

Probably one of the better chick fil a ‘s ive visited. Food is always amazing. Service is ok. Staff dosnt seem genuine but rushed. But as long as my food comes out hot and fresh im a happy guy!!

Always good food, clean and I love the new automatic open trashcans. Nice touch on not having to touch gross germ covered trash area. I totally forgot to order my salad grilled not crispy. My fault. But would be nice if when ordering to ask customer. I didnt want to return it so I ate my carb filled salad and felt totally guilty for it.

Night shift is always messing up an order. Never have problems during lunch. Tonight I actually had time to return another customers sandwich, there was a couple customers having things corrected on their order. A couple weeks ago I paid for add ons to my sandwich and was given someone else’s meal as well.
