I had a very unpleasant experience here. While waiting at the register for my carry out order, an employee approached me and asked if I was waiting for carry out. I said yes, and he responded by telling me, “I am going to have you move over here to wait for your order,” without any “please” or basic courtesy. The tone felt rude and dismissive, which made the interaction uncomfortable.

Customer service should include simple politeness and respect, especially in a place known for hospitality. Unfortunately, I’ve had similar experiences at other locations as well. Based on this visit, good service just wasn’t there.

I went in the drive thru to order two bags of ice and a tea I paid and pulled around. I was then approached by the person who usually gives receipts saying there was some glitch with my order because it said pick up. When I get to the window to get my ice the man with the iPad tells employee at the window it said pick up for some reason and she said I would need to come inside to get the two bags of ice. Well I definitely didn’t order for pickup also I had my two small children who are in car seats with me and that was the whole reason I went in the drive thru. When I told her that she rolled her eyes so hard at me I thought they would fall out of her head. Over a bag of ice!! I remember when it was always Chick-fil-A’s pleasure to serve their customers but not anyone. I honestly didn’t see the big deal in just handing me the bags considering the girl behind her was holding them. The girl from the window turned around and mocked me to the other employee with the ice that “I have kids I’m not getting out” in a whiney voice. After that I just asked for my money back and no desire to go back to that location. Which is unfortunate because I love taking my kids to play there once a week.

Either you don’t have young children, or you truly don’t understand how small decisions affect families.

This location has become my go-to place almost daily to pick up dinner for my kids. I regularly purchase a 12-count nugget meal and simply split it between my 4- and 5-year-old. They are at an age where sharing equally matters deeply to them, and something as small as dividing food properly can make or break a peaceful dinner.

What is very difficult to understand is why this location is so strict about refusing to provide an empty container. Every time I ask, the staff looks uncomfortable—because they do understand the situation and can clearly see the direct impact this has on a parent and their children. Yet they are forced to say no.

If the belief is that refusing a simple empty container saves a dollar or two, then please be transparent and charge for it. I would gladly pay. What’s frustrating is being put in a position where a loyal, daily customer feels dismissed over something that costs the business almost nothing but means a lot to a family.

Policies are important, but so is empathy. This experience has made me feel that this location values rigid rules over basic understanding, and that is disappointing.

Dear Billy McGarth, I am writing to share a concern regarding a recent experience at your store. This experience has left me quite frustrated and disappointed. Our lunch order was catered for approximately 60 people.
While I was allegedly provided with the correct number of sandwiches there were 2 extra boxes. I say allegedly because I failed to count them as I placed the sandwiches in the boxes. It was clear the extra boxes were a packaging error. However, when I brought this to the attention of management, both Joyce and Stacy, my concern did not seem to be fully acknowledged, and I was dismissed.
The catering manager was adamant that the sandwiches had been counted multiple times and that number was correct, yet this did not align with what was physically present to be placed in the boxes that were received. The issue was not about the miscounting on my end, but rather the confusion created by receiving extra boxes that suggested the complete number of sandwiches weren’t included.
What was most frustrating was the lack of understanding and empathy regarding the situation. Instead of addressing the obvious packaging mistake, the focus remained defending the count rather than resolving my concern. This made the experience feel dismissive ad unnecessary stressful.
I have always valued Chick-Fil-A for its strong commitment to customer service, which is why this experience stood out so negatively. I hope this feedback can be used as a learning opportunity to ensure clearer communication, better quality checks, and a more understanding response when customers raise valid concerns. I look forward to hearing from you!

I was honestly surprised because Chick-fil-A usually has good consistent service wherever you go, but didn’t seem so here. Drive through was slow, more like other fast food places, and the employee at the window, verified the name on my order, then just shoved a bag at me while turning away and was just done with helping us… No thank you, goodbye or anything. My wife went inside for her order due to a special request and the employee couldn’t speak English and had to get a manager who just refused the request.. Dissapointed.

Sept2019: I did and would continue to recommend this restaurant location. I returned to this restaurant location and found that the store was still keeping up with the standard I observed a year ago. The personnel working behind the counter were great and my food was as ordered. I was able to get my food and get to the airport to catch my flight back home.
Aug2018: I came by today for food to eat on the airplane. The service and food is great. I don’t care what anybody says you can never go wrong with a Chick-fil-A visit. I have found that this is one fast food restaurants which is consistent with food and friendly service. Each time I visit a different location it seems that there is a standard that persist throughout the chain. This particular location was no different.

Nasty employees. Shaggy long dirty hair dude is rude. And don’t know how to talk to people. While waiting for a carry out order at the register, this guy steps up and ask if I am waiting for carry out. I said yes. He then says “I am going to have you move over here to wait for your order.” Not please or can you. But he gives an order. Rude and disrespectful dirty dude. Good service is not available here or most chick fil a locations. Glen Burnie location is just as bad with nasty people who ignore first, then get irritated that you are there to order.

Let me start by saying, I never thought there could ever be a chick fil a with a bad review. But this one is all that.

You cannot buy a large cup of water. The condescending tone when staff talk with you.

Oh by the way check your bags during drive through, your good items might not be complete.

Franchise owner should be worried at all the negative comments.
