Food is good, although the pickles were super dried out, its still consistent Chik-fil-a quality chicken. Definitely a far cry from the 10/10 PJ restaurant (above and beyond friendly staff, bright and spacious seating and a play area). This place lacks much of an interior and staff seems nice enough, but probably wouldn’t be back to dine in, or go out of my way to like we did with a 4 year old. Consistently semi busy but quick service.

So I was looking to get a banana shake and couldn’t get one anywhere. I came into chik in Selden and was warmly greeted by the manager himself, James P. James was so accommodating and hospitable in taking my order for a cookies and cream shake that was so yum I forgot about the banana shake!

Love love this place the good food, there chicken is real chicken, Mac n cheese is like my grandma used to make soooooo yummy, fruit is fresh fruit not only apples but strawberries, blueberries, clementines . So tasty. They never forget to be kind. I know there closed on Sundays but I love the reason they are… honoring a day to rest for our father in heaven.

The folks working thare are very nice, courteous, attentive, and kind. The place was very clean, including the men’s room. The paper towel dispenser must have been broken or empty. The chicken tortilla was tasty. The chicken deluxe sandwich was well cooked, hot, and fresh. The waffle fries were hot and crisp. My wife did not like the chicken in the sandwich. She feels it may be the taste of the oil it was fried in. Overall, we like the chicken noodle soup, fries, mac and cheese, tortilla soup, and shakes. The value was comparable.

was very helpful and suggested the best food to order for my first time at Chick-fil-A. Food was great, order came fast and James kept making sure that everything came out okay and that we had all sauces we needed. He informed us that we were able to get free refills upon checking up on us! 10/10 service and food.

Chick Fil A Selden is still a work in progress but the entire experience in drive thru was great! First of all the location itself is ideal for us as we’re local and the other closest one was not so great.
My son eats CFA multiple times a week as he loves it very much and has a unique palate. For my first time buying I was impressed with the way finding in parking lot as it was very clear. I stopped by on Monday April 7 around 4pm and the service was a little slow but food was great.
I was a bit thrown off by the door which is also the drive thru area, it’s very convenient for the crew members but seems dangerous. Anywho, I’m so glad they’re open and surely they will get the hang of it! My son approves and that’s all that matters!

10/3/25, Order #305403 Malaysia took our order, she was polite, repeated my order and that’s where the plesant experience ended. We took a seat, placed the card at edge of table and waited for our food. As time passed I noticed people who ordered after me got their orders. More time past and still no food. I got up and went to see where our food was. Turned out they gave our order to someone else and the gentleman had no issue eating from an order that was obviously not his. As I was standing there an employee was now delivering their actual order and realizing the mistake she said sorry and they would remake my order. So I sat down at our table and waited, and waited. Again I had to go up and find our food. They said it was be made right now. Finally got my order. The kicker, the couple who got my order was allowed to keep it and I didn’t even get an apology from the manager, a free drink or ever an offer to refill our drinks. I usually visit the Port Jefferson location, service there is so much better. When in Selden I’ll go for pizza or to Panera instead.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! I stopped here this morning for breakfast on my way to work. all i ordered is a chicken biscuit sandwich through the drive-through and they had me pull up and wait. i sat in my car waiting for my ONE food item for over 25 minutes while everybody else in the line behind me got their food. absolutely Do not recommend anybody comes here. I was late to work and got written up.
