First time went on Thursday 2/19/26 omg Que Rico! The food amazing- the establishment clean and welcoming with a beautiful Cuban flare – our server was Rosmery and Que muchacha más linda y buena gente! The food was fresh and nice and hot brought to us quickly- my family is Cuban so I’ve had the cuisine throughout my lifetime- but living in San Marcos knowing Pflugerville not as far as Miami !!! Will fill that Cuban food craving I and family often have! A true treasure and pleasure- can’t wait to visit again …. and the amount of food is awesome- go hungry! Absolutely delicious! The food was full of flavor and tasted fresh and authentic. The atmosphere was just as impressive warm, lively, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the cooking and the ambiance. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great Cuban food!

The food was good, but not the best. My steak had some unexpected fat. I know that traditionally, a Cuban steak is topped with onions, cilantro, and lime, which tastes amazing, but I had to request that. Overall, the food was enjoyable.
I had a few nice waitresses who recognized that I don’t speak Spanish but am deaf. They were very kind and understood us well. I’m grateful for them.
Three milk cake is one of my favorites, but this place disappointed me. I wouldn’t recommend the tres leches cake, as it didn’t taste like the real thing. However, the flan was amazing!
My partner loves fried chicken, and she was very happy with her meal. I will definitely come back to try the ropa vieja.
Oh, and I ordered a meat pizza to bring home and taste it. It was amazing!
I was born and raised in Hialeah and have been around Cuban family. So, I know good Cuban food when I see it. Overall, I would like to return and try different dishes.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance—it’s right next to the cinema—and we are so glad we decided to try it! The food was absolutely delicious. I had the pulled pork, which was a bit fattier than I prefer, but the flavor made up for it. Everything tasted amazing!
I also had a coffee that was not only sweet and delicious but also beautifully presented—such a nice touch! The service was top-notch. The ladies there were so sweet and attentive, really made us feel welcome.
My husband loved his dish too—and he’s pretty picky, so that says a lot. We usually go for more authentic food, and this was definitely close. I’m a big fan of tostones, and while the empanada was just okay, it was still tasty overall.
This place is a must-try! We didn’t even know it was there, but now we’re definitely coming back. Just a heads up—parking might be a bit hectic, especially on weekends since there are other restaurants nearby, but trust me, it’s worth it. Loved it! You have to stop by.

Save yourself the flight to Havana and just drive here instead. CHICHOS is the real deal. From the second you walk in, you feel like you’ve been adopted by the kindest Cuban family. Everyone on the staff radiates warmth, and Jessica in particular deserves a standing ovation for her kindness and attentiveness.
I had the Ropa Vieja, and let me tell you, it was so authentic I half expected someone’s abuela to walk out of the kitchen and give me life advice. The Café Cubano con leche (basically a Cuban latte) was so strong, smooth, and heavenly that it made me rethink every cup of coffee I’ve had in my life.
Authenticity, flavor, and kindness all in one place. Five stars, only because Google won’t let me give ten.

Definitely recommend. Originally we were heading to another place to eat but saw the reviews on Chicos and turned around to try it… Exceeded ALL expectations. Ordered the Ropa Vieja and Cuban leche and were blown away by the quality, flavor and temperature of the everything when it came out. Jessica was especially friendly and hospitable with helping us choose our food and being so patient! Thank you for having us!!!

This is an amazing place. Cuban vibes here in Austin. The food it’s delicious. We love the pizzas. All the girls in the front desk when you come in to place the order, they receive you with a welcoming atmosphere and they’re amazing. Rosmery who received us today. She took our order to dine in the restaurante and she made sure that everything in our order was correct and we enjoyed our delicious pizzas. Thank you for everything!

First time having Cuban food and IT WAS DELICIOUS. Had a chicken sandwich which was so good that made me order another item. So got a pizza with chicken which was again (hot but) amazing. Had a hommade caramel flan and guava smoothie which was PERFECT. The girl with the glasses at the front (forgot to ask her name) was super helpful. Definitely coming back again.
