I had a really disappointing experience at Chicas Birria. They charged my card upfront, but never activated the wireless pager system they had in place. My party and I waited for our food, only for the food truck to leave the parking lot without any warning or explanation. I tried calling multiple times, and there was no answer. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Would not recommend until they fix their service and communication.

Not good. I called in an order and made the trip through Buford Highway’s bad traffic to try this restaurant. When I got there, they informed me that they were out of pretty much everything even though I had called in an order prior to getting there. Since I wasted the gas to get there, I settled for just the beef birria quesadilla and it wasn’t good. Meat wasn’t seasoned at all and chewy.
I have nothing good to say about this experience. The location was an inconvenient abandoned parking lot of an abandoned mechanic shop. Food was bland and pricey. Kids were running the food truck. They were out of half of the menu. No chicken, none of their specialty items, just tasteless birria.

I’m giving a three star because when I went there about 9 months ago their barria pizza was tasty and they also had delicious hot Cheeto barria balls. The last couple of times, I ordered through DoorDash, the pizza barria wasn’t the same. The last time I went there in person they said that they no longer sold the Cheeto barria balls, which was a disappointment… seem to be slacking. I haven’t been back in a while.

Had the Birria Pizza & Partha. The food was basic, just cheese and small amount of birria meat. Flavor wise “None”. The tortilla shell was burnt and everything inside tasted bland. But the casama was decent. Customer was good but wouldn’t take the drive again.

I got a Birria pizza for the first time a few days ago at Chicas Birria. I did not know what to expect but my foodie daughter had been telling me that they have good food. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the pizza was. I will definitely be going back for another one when I am in the area.
