This is the perfect type of place to take the in-laws. It’s classic American cuisine with no surprises. My in-laws love steak, seafood, chicken…standard American fare. All the usuals are here. The fried calamari, artichoke/spinach-type dip, a broad selection of soups, Caesar salad, some sort of salmon dish, chicken piccata… And this type of casual American food can be done well, and it can be done poorly, and this place knows their dishes, delivers a good experience and the servers really know how to handle the clientele! The servers are chatty and understand the menu well and know how to navigate the type of guest who is accustomed to having excellent (but unfussy) service when they dine. The portions are big without being overwhelming, and there’s enough choices on the menu that it’s not just limited to the standard American fare. (some items like bruschetta have actually migrated into the standard American fare repertoire, although they didn’t originate in North America).

Just moving to Marietta in October I was noticing this restaurant for a while. Tonight we just decided to try it. Sitting in the bar with a full menu and AMAZING music. This by far was my best experience since I relocated. The food was amazing, drinks top notch and service 10 stars.

Delicious food and great atmosphere! We love starting out with the Spinach & Artichoke Dip and our dinner favorites are definitely the Prime Rib, Brussels sprouts, wedge salad and don’t forget the honey croissants! My husband and I love this place and have shared many special occasions here!

My husband and I have been frequenting Chicagos for 30 years now. It has always been good, but it is absolutely amazing under the current ownership. The food, service, and staff are top notch. I highly recommend!

Love this place. The Sunday brunch is fantastic! The food and staff are spot on and the owner always stops by to say hi and check that everything is OK. Don’t forget to stop by the bar for the best drinks and bartenders in town.

Well, I usually take pictures of my dinner plate before I dig right in, but since I was here not too long ago and ordered the steak tip entree with a medium cook, which I ordered again, I knew what I was about to receive was something fantastic! What I most appreciate about this dish is the attention to detail when prepping the steak. Each tip was pristine and fat/grissle free. The cook was perfect. The mash potatoes were wonderfully light in the stomach on a summer night, teased with a gravy peppered just right. I’ll try to get a photo next time…we’ll meet again for dinner, Chicago! Thanks again Jennifer, for your speedy and polite service 🙂

Had dinner with my family here, and the place looked promising. The waitress would disappear for long periods of time and constantly forgot our requests. My step dad ordered an extra side and I ordered a salad with my entree. Neither item made it to the table. We reminded the waitress twice and still no food. The items ended up on our bill anyways and it had to be changed twice. I ordered the French dip which was disappointing because it was very very sweet and the au jus had way too much horseradish. At least I could reduce my tip, right? Wrong, there is an automatic 20% tip built into the bill. The food was sub par and the service was awful. It’s an expensive restaurant and my experience was awful. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemies.

I have been going to this restaurant since I was very young and I’ve never had any complaints. Chicago’s will always remain one of my favorite Restraunts. My favorite items are their sweet potatoes, spaghetti, and fish tacos.
