I’ve been 3 to 4 times and ordered different things every time… just wanna say that the food there is completely amazing, the prices are incredibly reasonable, the fries are arguably the best, and the ladies there are all very polite and super nice. Definitely going there again, and again lol thanks. Oh and they have a great selection on the beers. Big bonus lol

I absolutely love this place!! I’ve never had a bad meal here. My kids and I used to come here all the time, but we recently moved and it’s a farther drive, which is well worth it cause we still manage to come. I ordered the chopped chicken salad expecting a boring chicken salad but boy was I surprised!! It’s huge and very delicious definitely reccomend!! Overall nice little place, staff is always very friendly and even though you have no waitress someone usually checks on you once or twice. Looks like most everything is made from scratch right then and there. Definitely reccomend this place.

My family and I have been in this place more than once and I have to say that I really like their food. The people working there are very humble and very courteous, they provide a really fast and amazing service. The food is delicious and prices are very reasonable for the serving size. Every time I go there I try something new and everything has been really good. I do recommend this place and I will be coming for more.

We met friends here in Feb. prior to attending a concert at the Rialto. We arrived early figuring that the place would get crowded as a previous reviewer had indicated. It did, we were all glad that we arrived a bit early compared to the show start time. We were seated right away and the service was good and friendly. We all ordered different sandwiches which were good but nothing great. The corned beef sandwich was good but there is much better elsewhere. I would recommend this as a good place to go before a show, but get there early unless you are good with standing for awhile waiting for a seat.

Great food, fast service, and pleasant atmosphere. I met up with a friend here for lunch. Place was easy enough to find though parking was a bit of a trick. Once that was settled though we ordered lunch sat down and enjoyed. Will definitely be going back.

Okay, granted, we only tried the burger and Chicago Dog but there are times when you can tell by a simple sample how much attention is paid to the preparation of food….and it’s this attention that sets places apart. This was our first stop on our Chicago-Santa Monica Route 66 road trip. And as it turned out it was one of the most memorable. It is the place that when we reminisce about the burger places we visited it is at the top of the list. She had the Friday Special Burger (forgot the name) and it was done perfectly. The bun was light and airy but full of flavor and the meat was moist and juicy. It was not overcooked like we experienced in so many other places. The condiments were plentiful but did not over power the burger and the price was especially nice. This was our top value burger of our entire trip. I hadthe Chicago Dog. It was prepared as expertly as we have experienced. It was decorated as if it came off an advertisement. If you have never had a Chicago Dog this would be a great introduction to the culinary specialty. We both agree that coming back here would be worth a special trip to Joliet.

Very good food!! I had their version of a chopped salad! Romaine, tomato, avocado, bacon, chicken, roasted corn with a cilantro vinaigrette topped with warm, crispy tortilla strips! I actually liked it better than Portillo’s. My colleague had the version of Maxwell St. Polish.. it was actually more like “Chicago style” missing the pickle spear and relish.. he however thought it was good. Looked good! The homemade fries was a nice touch! THOSE were yummy! Nice decor…not so much Chicago style, but nice.

Very nice people. Fresh cut fries. Not usually a fan of onion rings as the batter tends to taste like dirty grease. These onion rings were great. Light batter, great flavor.
