The food was absolutely amazing. My wife ordered the lobster and steak, and she absolutely loved it — cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I ordered the filet with asparagus, and honestly it was the best filet and asparagus I’ve had at any restaurant. Whatever source they’re getting their food from, they need to keep it up because the quality truly stands out.
For appetizers, we had the crab cakes and calamari. One word: amazing. The freshness and flavor made it feel like we were eating in Italy. You could really taste the quality in every bite.
Our waitress was professional, very attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the entire menu, which was impressive. You could tell she genuinely cared about her job and about her tables, which made the experience even better.
One thing is for sure — we will be back, and we’re bringing more friends. Definitely recommending you guys!
We ordered the oyster special, as we both enjoy oysters, but unfortunately they were disappointing. They had a strong odor upon arrival and appeared very dark and mushy in texture. After tasting a small portion, we were concerned about getting sick because they were not fresh at all and tasted terrible. When we asked for the plate to be removed, there was no questioning or follow up from the server as to why we were sending back a whole plate of oysters we just got but we let it go as we were just really happy to be celebrating the day.
While we understood that Valentine’s Day is a busy evening and some delay is expected, the overall wait time became excessive with over an hour. Our server checked on us very rarely and our drinks remained empty for quite some time and by the time the server finally came back we were far too hungry to order another drink. When our entrées arrived, they were cold and not very good quality for the price point which was super disappointing.
Although the staff offered a complimentary dessert, which we appreciated, it did not fully offset the overall experience. We had planned to stay for additional drinks and dessert, but the food, service and wait time had us just wanting to leave.
We were prepared to spend both the time and money for a special Valentine’s Day dinner, but unfortunately the experience did not meet expectations and overall put a damper on our date.
We also noticed the team member who refilled our water. He was consistently attentive, and we never once had to ask for a refill. The service overall was outstanding. Great experience from start to finish!
Thank you all that work there! Keep up with the great service and food.
Sincerely Jeff & Robin Spicer
Happy hour food we tried were the Parmesan fries 5/5 mini burgers 5/5 threeway pasta 5/5 highly recommend coming by. The bartender was very friendly and it was her birthday! (Fun fact We were born a day apart) unfortunately I forgot her name
I frequent a few times a year on a special occasion. The atmosphere is very nice, the staff are all friendly, and the food is always exquisite. The owner is always there and very involved.
I just had a couple of things that left me a little unsatisfied this time around. First off, we had a reservation, and were told they had no idea when space would be available in the standard dining room. It was already past 7:30, so we didn’t want to wait long. We were offered a bar area seat.
Overall it was fine, but the music was just a little loud, which made it hard to have conversations. Then, my favorite dessert, the crème’ brûlée was smaller, and it was quite liquidy when it’s supposed to be creamy. I never had a bad creme brûlée until tonight. I hope it gets fixed!
