All good! Absolutely no complaints here! Tips were flavorful you can taste the smoke on it AND charcoal! The links were perfectly made and the sauce tastes good. My one critique is that the coleslaw was runny. I’m not sure if that’s because it was placed on hit food or if it was that way before but it definitely needs to stiffen up. This food was good.

The only issue I have is the portion size. I ordered a large tip in the past and it was more than enough for two people. Today I ordered the same large tip but received less food exactly 10 tips. Another customer was complaining that she got less than expected ordering from the lunch special. Please don’t increase the rate and cut the portion. Fastest way to loose business.

I can’t believe we’ve been let down at this establishment and the food is pretty good (overall I gave it 3 stars, and the service 1). Ordered three entrees and one was incorrect and the owner had the nerve to come up front to argue with us, after we repeated exactly what we wanted to the cashier, because our orders have been incorrect before. His tone was very aggressive behind that glass, and not to mention the Customer is always right! After his unexcusable behavior he remade the order, we got home and food was missing this time (it was insane for us not to check the bag, but we just knew they would get it right. It wasn’t meant for us to check the bag, because we needed to move on from this place). Will definitely be looking for another black owned BBQ establishment. The experience with the owner going back and forth was the first , however the cooks making the food incorrectly was not the first time, and we still continued patronizing this establishment. This establishment actions simply told us to take our business elsewhere with their attitude and lack of quality control.

The tips have been inconsistent. How?
Sometimes boney. Sometimes meaty but always smokey and flavorful.
⭐Links = DO Not recommend. The filling around Chicago makes me question much like serious lower quality.
⭐Chicken Wings = no seasoning but freshly cooked. I think they anticipate the sauce to give the flavor.
⭐ Recommend: Bucket of tips but I’m starting to wonder if this size gets more bones because of the bucket size/quantity orrrr if it’s more about the expo cook being tired of cutting rib tips so you get what you get?! No idea but I’ve always ordered and paid online so 5 stars ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ for that convenience and tech.
I’m not eager to stand in line for food so grab and go is a huge added convenience.
No issues with pickup nor calling to ask questions. They answer and they are polite. There’s a card/processing fee if you swipe regardless if it’s online or in person.
Fries are like most places…. Frozen and no hand cut fresh but the ppace that does such will explode.

Slices of white bread also provided with a large fry. I was shocked in a good way how much was included for a bucket purchase and it’s a legit plastic white bucket.
Hours: Open at 11am
They smoke and you’ll smell it before arriving like a mile away. I feel like it’s a good sign.

The food is usually good but not this time, my order had very little sauce and the chicken I bought was bland without it. I was looking forward to having lunch here but I’m disappointed. I called to complain about having very little sauce and was told if I want more sauce I would need to pay $3. I replied that I have always had enough sauce on my chicken before and you can’t serve chicken that suppose to come with sauce and not add it. I was just told “well Im sorry” poor customer service.

I purchased a wing/tip lunch special and when I arrived at work and opened my food I received the wrong order they gave me a hot link order instead.
So I called and they asked for my name which I gave it to them and I was told on my next visit they would replace my order so I called today and they are playing dumb they said well that’s to bad that I received the wrong order.
That’s Bad business.

I ordered from here to day spent $35 on some food they got my order wrong this food ain’t cheap and I eat it cuz it USUALLY IS FRESH AND THEY USE TO HAVE GREAT SERVICE BUT they gave something I didn’t ask for and when I called in about it they were rude I was over charged and whoever the guy is claimed he owed me $1.10 of a difference I will never come back here the amount of money I have spent here n this how they treat people they clearly have lost they mind my turkey tips was hard as hell like it was from yesterday or something horrible I definitely will be going forward and reporting them to bbb that’s unacceptable and un professional and people shouldn’t be treated like that then he claimed he doesn’t do refunds ok so do something I drove from work all the way over there for nothing lost out on money and food.
