Fantastic Chicago style pizza, and from my searching, the ONLY true Chicago deep dish pizza in Charlotte. I got this as a take out and when I got home it was still warm and FANTASTIC. Restaurant looked really cool too, really nice decor and they clearly made the pizzas in house. They do validate parking at the garage that’s designated for the Green, so don’t worry about having trouble getting there. 10/10 would recommend, and will 100% be bringing people back here because it is in the heart of uptown so you’ve got a great place to walk off that deep dish deliciousness.

I had lunch at Pete’s twice. The veggie calzone was super tasty, fresh, good quality ingredients, and the sauce light and fresh, not the over garlicky heavy sauce sometimes served in pizza joints. Today I had the thin crust bacon and feta pizza and OMG. What a treat. Pete runs the place with passion and charisma. A local gem! The line at noon says it all!

This place was so nice! We were in a rush, and the employee at the counter personally checked on our meals to help us get our food on time. Everyone was so friendly, and the food was delicious!

$24, 50 minutes of waiting later and I was left with an undercooked, soggy, small, genuinely awful cafeteria style pizza. I was wondering why living in Uptown for years I had never heard of this spot. Now I know.

Absolutely delicious spot for lunch. Great customer service. Very clean and well ran. I absolutely love the authentic Chicago dog. I will be going here more often. Definitely check them out if you are Uptown and want a quick bite on your lunch break! 5 STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It’s a really good pizza and fair prices. The pizza itself is not that big, but it is quite tasty, and you can tell it is fresh. We didn’t have to wait too much time for the food to be ready, although they did have to remake one of ours, so we had to wait longer than expected. The only detail I didn’t like much is the fact that they only had bottled water, so they charged for it. I really liked my meat lovers pizza and my wife her Margherita pizza.

Great looking place. Looks chic and clean. My order was ready when I walked in and I was met by the owner. At first glance, I thought maybe the price was high for the portion I received, but after diving in, the deep dish veggie was amazing and very filling. I can eat on this pizza for a few days. The price is worth the product received. I will be trying other menu items this week.

The food is good. Hot dogs and burgers. The service isn’t as speedy as I would want at lunch time but if you are preparing good food I understand it takes longer. The homemade chips are delicious! Overall a solid lunchtime place. You can also take food and walk outside and sit on the greens.

Since I’ve worked close by for about 6 months, I decided to give this place a try. The staff was super friendly and the place is nice and clean. I was craving hot dogs so I tried the Carolina Dog. Worried that one hot dog wasn’t going to be enough, I got the 2-Hot dog combo. It cost an extra $1 for chili on the second dog. I chose fries instead of the homemade chips because ranch was an extra $0.75. I ended up with a $13 lunch for two hot dogs, fries and a water (my choice). The dogs were delicious but maybe heavy on the slaw and light on the chili that I just paid extra for. The fries were underwhelming considering they have an entire section dedicated on the menu. Overall, the food was good but in my personal opinion, overpriced. We are talking about hot dogs, not porterhouse steaks after all. Doubt I’ll come back given that less than 50 yards away I can get two slices of pizza and garlic knots for less than $9 at Fuel.

Really good pizza. I had deep dish pepperoni and thin crust pepperoni and they were both excellent.
