I have been wanting to try this for quite a while, but haven’t been out their way. However, I found them on door dash and decided to give them a try .
I got their two most popular items (according to Door dash) The Chicago dog ( made it a meal with onion rings and a drink)and the pizza with Italian beef and onion.
The Chicago Dog was quite good. It had great snap and outside of the tomato being a bit crunchy (yes I do realize it’s February) was quite delicious and exactly what I remembered from the last Chicago Dog I had in Chicago.
The pizza was good. Not the best and definitely not the worse I ever had The Italian beef as a topping is something I had never had and I highly recommend getting it as a topping if you decide to get a pizza from here. You can’t beat the price and you get a drink as well.
The onion rings were unacceptable. As you can see by the pictures they were burnt, stuck together and totally uneatable.
The reason I gave the service 3 stars was only because of the onion rings. Whoever sent them should have known better. My driver had to wait nearly 40 minutes at the restaurant as well. I have no idea how busy they were at 11am, so I do not hold this against them.
In conclusion, I will eventually make my way
there to try a couple of other items. Hopefully I will be able to give them a higher score. I recommend giving them a try I give them a 6.5 out of 10.

Being a lover of authentic Chicago food, I was so happy when this restaurant opened in Knoxville. The Chicago dogs and Italian Beef is phenomenal!!! Chicago Mike gets the real deal food right from the source. Come by and get you some!!!!

A taste of home!! I am a transplanted Chicago girl that loves Tennessee but I DO miss the food! This was a treat!! We had the lunch special hot dog and fries and drink. It smelled like home, it looked like home AND it tasted like home! The dog was a Vienna, the bun was steamed and poppyseed and it was great, sport peppers, onions and mustard.
If you long for a taste of the Great Midwest Chicago food, you must try Chicago Sausage Company. The staff was really nice, and indulgent when I asked if the owner was from “real” Chicago and laughed and answered yes “south-side”. I’m a north-sider and can’t thank you enough for bringing a taste of home to my new home!!

When you are from Chicago, you know the real deal and this is the REAL deal! Small cafe style shop, cozy and clean. There’s seating inside and out. The menu is simple old style Chicago eats. We had the Italian Beef and chili cheese fries. They were both perfect! The peppers have just the right heat, bread was perfect! The beef seasoned well and the Auju, was wonderful! The chili sauce on the fries, was old school and the perfect texture. We will be back! We still had a little more room in the tank to split a OG pizza puff. If you have never had one, it’s worth the wait.

I had the italian beef and hubby got the Chicago dog and we shared onion rings. Some of the best food I’ve ever had. Love this place. The girl at the register was really great. Talked to us and offered suggestions. Talked about how the owner drives up to Chicago for supplies and used to live there. I highly recommend this pace. Cant wait to go back and try everything. As tempting as it is to get the italian beef fully dipped again. I want to try it all.

I tried the Chicago Hot Dog today at Chicago Hotdog and Sausage Company, and wow—it tasted just like back home! Everything from the poppy seed bun to the sport peppers was spot on. I’ve also had their Italian Beef a few times, and it’s always been amazing. This is the only place in Knoxville that truly nails authentic Chicago-style food. Highly recommend if you’re craving a taste of the Windy City!

They’ve got the authentic rolls for their Italian Beef Sandwiches, and every bite took me right back to the Windy City. The owner and his staff are genuinely friendly, making the whole experience even better. And the food? It’s fantastic—much better than Portillo’s!
