Do not purchase their deep dish pizza. It’s not deep dish! It’s a super thick crust with light toppings. It felt like I was eating toast. I called to complain and I wasn’t offered a refund or exchange. There went $20 down the drain for medium fake deep dish pizza!

Not quite what I was expecting for a deep dish, but yummy tasting all the same. This was more like a thick pan pizza. Think pizza hut, but waaayyy better! We were so hungry that we dug in and ate before I took a pic. This picture is what we had left of a 10 inch deep dish with sausage. I am not a big eater, so this was enough for 2. Finally, a big shout out to our wonderful server. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. I would stop here again if we are ever in the area.

The atmosphere at Chicago Dough Company is as fantastic as the food itself. I enjoyed the lunch buffet, which included pizza and a salad bar. The lettuce was crisp and clearly fresh—not the prepackaged kind—and the selection of pizzas was incredible. They kept replenishing the pizzas frequently, so everything stayed hot and fresh. The salad bar offered all the classic toppings—tomatoes, cheese, olives, peppers, onions, cottage cheese, and more. They even had a hot soup option, which was a nice touch.
The restaurant has a warm and inviting vibe, with cozy booths and plenty of wooden decor. The walls are adorned with old photographs, giving it a charming, neighborhood feel. I’ll definitely be returning!

Sweat Less Travel
Chicago Dough is an institution in Bourbonnais. It’s been here for almost 50 years. The lunch and Tuesday dinner buffets especially popular. Service is always good. You may want to ask for Len, who is almost as much an institution there as the restaurant itself. He’s extremely intelligent, charming, and just joy to be around. I would almost go to Chicago Dough just to hang out with him.

Service was prompt and courteous. We chose the salad bar with the pizza, and all vegetables were fresh and crisp. Pizza came right after and it was delicious. We accompanied with a couple drinks that were very well prepared as well. Definitely will come bask and recommend.

We come here often. The food is great. Staff is friendly and accommodating. My child LOVES the buffet. Always recommend this place to anyone who asks about pizza. Definitely one of the better places to go in this small area.

Delicious! I tried the buffet which was inexpensive. I enjoyed the chance to try their different pizzas. I think my only request would be a little more meat for toppings, otherwise no complaints. The service was outstanding, never needed to ask for refills or to have my plate removed. The decor is cool and cozy.

The Richton Park location was our families FAVORITE restaurant!! I contacted the staff and let them know I needed a large order early Saturday morning and told them what the company means to our family and THEY WERE SO AMAZING! Our order was ready, they signed a box to my late mother and showed us around and some of Richton Parks nostalgia. Made my heart so happy. Thank you guys so much!!!

My family and I come here to eat almost every Tuesday for the lunch buffet. Chicago dough has been a childhood favorite of mine and we love supporting local businesses. The past several weeks we have had to pick through dirty plates and today was no exception. Each plate we received was filthy with food residue and grease. My niece was served a cup of water with brown bits of who knows what floating around in the cup. When we brought these issues to our waitress as well as the manager Ethan we were brushed off and given no plates. He even went to the salad bar looking for plates and he struggled to find any clean plates there. Our appetizers were getting cold while we waited for clean plates. I told them it was unacceptable. The waitress Cindy was very argumentative and told me I shouldn’t be upset with her so I told her to get a manager and she had a meltdown. Told us to pay and leave. We hadn’t even eaten because we had no plates! Who would pay for any of that? I can understand having a bad day or a dirty plate here or there but this was filth. The manager should be embarrassed.
