ordered a birthday cake for a party last weekend and I am still blown away! This cake completely surpassed all expectations. It was incredibly soft and moist—it basically melted in our mouths. The balance of sugar was perfect; it was rich and delicious without being overly sweet or sickening. Even our guests were raving about it, asking where it was from! I will definitely be ordering from Chicago Bakery again. 10/10!

I’m very surprised by all the bad reviews honestly. I’ve been going to Chicago bakery for a while now & they have never disappointed me. Every time I’ve been indecisive they’ve always been so patient & sweet with me. The corona cake was from last year & the second cake was from March 2024 & they did exactly as the inspo pictures.

I should have reviewed a long time ago but honestly I am soo happy with this Bakery they made my wedding cake back in 2016 for 200 people, it was so delicious and at an affordable price they also delivered on time. But yesterday was my daughters first birthday party and I was so busy I completely forgot the birthday cake. They were able to make something for us with short notice, it was super delicious and again their price was awesome compared to other bakeries in our area. It just feels like they make all their cakes with love because all my guest at both my wedding and now my daughters bday were asking for seconds! They always have great costumer service.

I stopped by to get a cake for my husband from the cakes they had available that day. I needed nothing fancy. My son picked out an Oreo cake they had on display. We cut into it that night after dinner and it was by far, the worst cake I have ever tasted in my life. It was salty, dry and the frosting was too sweet. The Oreos were stale. It appeared this cake was either made by an amateur or we got an old cake. In any case I will never buy anything from this bakery. That was a waste of $31.

So I was in a hurry to get a tres leches for my girlfriends first birthday with us together, later in the day I read reviews and was very scared haha, no wonder why it was so cheap, lol turned out it was amazing, everyone loved it, beautiful, delicious and very affordable, I told her where I got it and that’s where she got mine for my birthday and her daughters as well so I had it a number of times without knowing, and it never failed. Placed my order only 2 days in advance during graduation time too, and no problem.

Been doing my best to support local businesses at Wheaton Triangle, but the county has left almost no parking and now there are tow trucks circling like vultures despite poor and confusing signage. Almost got towed tonight running into Chicago Bakery for a slice of birthday cake. They extorted out of $25 to get them to go away. Looked like their parking and I was only there 5 minutes. Just not worth it. Guess I’ll have to take my business elsewhere, if Chicago Bakery cared about its customers it would clearly mark that on its back door.
Though I got to say the cake is quite good, I’m disappointed that I cannot risk parking there again.
