I have eaten at Chiba multiple times, and it is always a treat.
Tonight, I ordered the vegetable tempura roll, the Parkside roll, the seasonal caramel apple bread pudding, and a seasonal spiced apple drink. I’d intended to take a fair amount home, and while I do have leftovers, the Parkside was so good that I had the entire roll. It has a perfectly balanced kick of spice subsequently tempered by the sweetness of the fruit. The vegetable tempura was as delicious as always, and it keeps well, so I am looking forward to it as an early breakfast. The caramel apple bread pudding was so good that I would highly encourage anyone on the fence to try it while you can! If you like fireballs, you will love the seasonal drink, which has a strong taste of cinnamon which paired well with the hint of apple and was perfect for a cool evening.
The owner is always passionate about his work, and I always look forward to trying something new. Staff is always friendly as well. If you enjoy live music, there is often live music on Friday nights. There is warmer, indoor seating, but there’s also outdoor seating year round with blankets and heaters, which I am looking forward to trying in the next few weeks.
If you are interested in inarizushi and disappointed in its absence on the menu, I am excited to tell you that it’s currently available off-menu, pricing equal to other nigiri sushion the menu and by the piece. If there’s something else, it might be worth asking the owner if it’s something that might be available.
This is one of Westfield’s gems, and I am glad I found it.

The food here is phenomenal! The owner, Keith, is very hospitable and the atmosphere inside the building was amazing. Definitely go out of your way sometime this month to try their McLaren roll and the King Cake Tempura Bread pudding! 🙂

Chiba in Westfield is such a gem! The service was outstanding — attentive without being overbearing — and the staff gave fantastic recommendations that we absolutely loved. Every single thing we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented.
The portions were also way larger than expected (in the best way), which made it feel like such a great value. And the live music on the weekends adds the perfect vibe — it really elevates the whole dining experience and makes it feel special without being too loud or distracting.
Highly recommend for a date night, dinner with friends, or honestly any excuse to eat amazing sushi. We’ll definitely be back!

Was there on a rainy Thursday happy hour. My waiter was very nice and attentive. Delicious sushi off the happy hour menu. Had the sashimi trio and requested a salmon and avocado hand roll. Hand roll was like small burritos instead of the cone shape. Yummy!

This is our favorite spot for sushi! While the sushi never disappoints, the most outstanding dish on the menu is their bbq crispy chicken- it’s delicious, unique, and down right addictive! ORDER IT
The proprietors, Keith and Nicole are always there, ready to serve you along with their friendly staff. They have a way of making you feel a part of their Chiba family. One night at Chiba, we were finished with dinner and a great song started playing, so my husband asked me to dance. After our dance, Keith brought out glasses of champagne because he appreciated our moment and that made our date night even more special.
When we first started going to Chiba, we enjoyed the intimate seating in the converted home. Since then, the space has expanded to a bar, outdoor patio, indoor/outdoor back patio, and even a small beach. We love the feel and the live music.

I always enjoy eating at Chiba! Staff is incredible and friendly, and the food is amazing! Their crawfish rice is an absolute must-have, and you can’t go wrong with any of their sushi rolls. It’s always a fantastic dining experience, from eating on the patio in the summer to enjoying a meal inside the bar. Add this place to your list!

Service was great from host to server, the food was just not it for us from the appetizer to the sushi to the steak, just not good. We got short rib buns, Philly cheesesteak egg rolls(little to no seasoning) very bland. New York steak medium. It came drenched in a sauce, fully cooked but we felt bad so didn’t say anything to our server. The rice was dry/old overall the food did not have enough seasoning, potatoes drenched in what tasted like red hot sauce which if you like then you’ll love them but again definitely not it for me. Sushi was okay not good not bad overall food tasted sub par we did love the ambiance and the drinks are strong & worth it but definitely not coming back. Unfortunately we would have honestly returned everything we got but we didn’t say anything, We really wanted to like it though because we love sushi and just about any Asian food. Disappointed but we gave it a shot. Looks better in pictures than what it tasted.

My husband and I had an amazing first time experience at Chiba. The pain killer cocktail is on point, and took me back to vacationing in the virgin isles! The poke nachos are superb and their speciality rolls are unique and delicious. Service was fantastic, fast, and friendly. We sat inside in the back bar area admiring the snow falling and ogling at the outdoor spaces that look like a great time in the summer. We cannot wait to come back when the weather is warmer and enjoy their expansive outdoor patio space! Thanks for a great date night. We are excited to come back soon.

If you are looking for your new favorite Japanese spot then look no further. Chiba was 20/10 in my books. I got the chicken Katsu, & a yam tempura roll- both were incredible. Everything on the plate was fresh and crafted to perfection. The desert today was an apple carmel bread pudding tempura- the cherry on top of a fabulous meal. We left so full and so happy.
Not only was the food sensational but the owner Keith was so kind we loved talking with him!! Make sure to stop in for the best food experience and a good time! Thanks again Keith for the delicious foods and keep doing what you are doing!! We will be back soon.

We sat in the bar area in the back of the property, which was fine. November visit, but could see how great the outdoor seating would be during the warm months. Food and service good, but the food presentation and taste was very good. I had sashimi and rolls were very good and fresh. Will come back!
