Chiapas Mexican Grill is amazing!! I’ve always went to El Toro, El Rancho, Taquiera in moraine. To be honest this place is better. Better prices, way more authentic. Smaller family owned feel. As a Mexican it’s the real deal!! I would highly recommend this place. Not only is the food great the service is great and interior design is fantastic. When I’m hungover or very sick the soups hit the spot like a potion!!! lol

Very good food, we were the only ones there which was pretty cool. The salsa and chips are very good. Everything we tried was fresh. The service was great. They were very friendly, kept up on refills. We’d definitely go back.

My family and I went for their “Free Margaritas” which ended with me spending 45$ and trying to choke down wet unseasoned food. I had very high hopes. I love Mexican food and margaritas. But the promotion they put out was extremely misleading and the food I received was literally dripping with liquids (not sure if it was grease or just water) and was pretty inedible. Server was nice though.

Food was very good and came quickly. The server so so sweet, we asked for pickled onions and the restaurant didn’t carry them and she brought us a drink on the house to make up for it, which she did not need to do! Beautiful and colorful inside with a couple of large TVs with games being played on them. Definitely try this place, the outside is deceiving.

We went on Tuesday and got the taco Tuesday special $1.99 each. They were good, the chips and salsa also good. We were the only customers dining in,( it was like 3pm) the place is pretty big, don’t let the outside fool you, it’s nice inside. Go check it out.

I had carne asada yesterday lengua. ☺️☺️
The food was good. The chips were crisp and warm!!!! Salsa wasn’t spicy but the spicy one was on the side for those who will obviously want to add it.
I had agua de jamaica! Loved it! Not like those other places whose Jamaica taste like zuko.
There is taco tuesday, look it up.
The cumbia playing the background was vibes.
The cleanliness!!! Yes!!! Propf that you can have authentic food and still invest in decor and cleanliness without charging a kidney to customers.
I will be back with my peepz for sure.

The service was good but the salsa was not great and the day I went the chicken fajitas had so little to no seasoning they were really bland I did not enjoy them at all. Maybe it was a bad day to go but I hope it is better in the future.

You should try Chiapas Mexican Grill. This place is relatively new and I came during lunch with a friend who is from Chiapas. I have tried most of the Mexican places because my wife is from Mexico, and I would rate this one well above average. Everything is clean and cozy. Lots of options on the menu and the food was excellent. Salsas are very flavorful. I’ll be back for more tacos.

If you haven’t visited any of the Chiapas stores, you are missing out, and there’s hardly anyone going to this one yet. We practically had the place to ourselves. It was great!
