I chose the beef noodle and my wife got some type of curry.
I absolutely loved mine. It was delicious!!!! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!
My wife loved hers. It was also VERY GOOD!
Mine has just the right amount of heat!
We usually eat at FD’s on the corner from here but decided it’s time for something different.
Awesome idea!
We will definitely be back!
The waitress was very pleasant. It’s a small place and was extremely busy with takeout orders. There’s really not a spot to wait for a table except at the front door. We went early and were seated immediately but before we left it was very crowded with customers waiting for a table.
Very good experience and we will be back.
I’m gonna go ahead and get the only negative thing about my experience out of the way. That would be the side of fried rice, if you can even call it that. For starters, it was barely even warm. It had me wondering if they cooked it on a seat warmer. Maybe someone had the temperature of the grill set to hot breath. Either way, I wasn’t a fan. On to more important stuff.
I started with the egg rolls and pot stickers. The egg rolls were amazing. Nice and crispy on the outside and full of fillings and flavor on the inside. They came with sweet and sour sauce as well. Those pot stickers were unreal. I’d fight a small child for the last one. No hesitation. They were easily some of the best I’ve ever had. The dumpling sauce that came with them could probably cure cancer.
For the main event, I went with the Chicken Chow Mein for myself. The stir fried egg noodles mixed with the sauce and broccoli was an instant favorite of mine. My wife ordered the Pad Thai. It was saucy, slightly sweet, with just enough tang to make you consider licking the plate in public. I didn’t, but I thought about it. The crushed peanuts and lime really set it off.
I really look forward to coming back soon and trying everything else on the menu, although I’m afraid that would take years, given the vast amount of choices. Overall the service was great and so was the food. I highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t already.
Unfortunately, the service did not match that expectation. Our waitress Leeuu seemed unhappy to be there and very unfriendly. When my daughter accidentally spilled her drink (which ended up all over her), I apologized and began cleaning it up, but we weren’t offered extra napkins to help dry her off. The server sighed, wiped part of it up, and said, “I’ll deal with this later,” which felt dismissive.
We also asked at the beginning of the meal for the check to be split, but it wasn’t, and correcting it at the end seemed like an inconvenience.
If a 20% tip is required, the service should reflect that. We left disappointed.
The food was good and fresh
I was very impressed with the cleanliness of their restaurant especially all of the decor and lighting. It was all free of dust.
The portions were of good size and you could order smaller sizes which fit me perfectly
The diet Dr pepper was not good, that could be a carbonation to syrup ratio thing. They were very apologetic and had no issue exchanging my drink for me.
