Im currently exploring all of the restaurants in Ostiense and this may be the most average so far. They were open during typical riposo hours which was nice. Service was good. The arrosticini was pretty tasty. The genovese pasta was a little bland but I liked it overall. The final part of my meal was a mistake. The steak arrived with no arugula or tomatoes and was seriously overcooked. A meat focused restaurant in Italy that overcooked a steak is a bit absurd. Fortunately, nothing that can’t be fixed. Worth revisiting to see if maybe the food is better during dinner hours.

Great food, period. Definitely a meat lover’s place. We had a rib eye steak and the tartare.
Relaxed atmosphere, and you can tell that the guys running the butcher shop out front don’t cut any corners on quality. Don’t come in a rush or expecting a typical fine dining, perfect-service or Instagram kind of place.
Just come for the great quality food!

Food is not best, but good.
Service not so good, waiter ignored us.
Coperto is counted for all persons, not for table.
We did not order water but we got this, we were sure water was included to ordered espresso (water costs more than espresso by the way).
While customers were still in restaurant the floor was being moped, I had to use toilet and walk over freshly moped floor, while listening to dissaproval over walking through from staff.
To sum up, prices not adequate to service and food.

Was there with a friend and had a very nice hamburger Siciliano and Imperatore, which we recommend. The staff was very welcoming and sweet, definitely worth it if you’re near Piramide/Ostiense.
