One of my neighbors recommended I give this restaurant a try because I love pizza. Today was my first visit, and I absolutely loved it. All of the food was great.I tried several things.I tried the bruschetta which is a served in a deconstructed manner. I also wanted to try both the thin crust pizza and the Chicago style deep dish pizza. Both were beyond phenomenal. I will definitely go back for more.

This was our first time here at Chi-Pie and my personal first experience with Chicago style pizza. Our experience was amazing. From the moment we sat down our awesome server Jordan was on it. He took wonderful care of us through our entire time there. The atmosphere was great, we did not feel awkward having our small child there like we do in some places. Then there’s the food. SO GOOD! We got the Southsider pizza and the Cheeseburger pizza. Delicious! We got a small deep dish of each of them and between the 2 of them we left full with half the pizza still left for lunch tomorrow!
We ordered the children’s pizza add pepperoni for our son and he ate the entire thing!
Over all great experience and we can’t wait to comeback and bring some family and our other children. Excited to try the pastas and desserts as well!

Chicago native here, and I was unfortunately pretty disappointed. We ordered a deep dish pizza, a thin crust pizza, and the stuffed garlic bread. We made an online order and the site said our order would be ready at 6:33 PM. We show up at that time, and they inform us that it will be another HOUR before our order is ready and that the pick up time on the site is when they “start cooking our order.” They either are making up excuses or they are not aware of what their website shows customers. So, we go back in an hour, and our order is just sitting on the counter. At that point, we realize they don’t have any sort of warmer for their pizzas. We live only 7 minutes away from the store and our pizzas were not hot at all so they had clearly been sitting out for a while before we picked them up. The pizzas themselves were skimpy on toppings, and the deep dish pizza was not deep, had very, very little cheese, and the sauce was just chunks of tomato. The thin crust was better than the deep dish but there are better places to get thin crust around here. And then the stuffed garlic bread was just a hoagie roll with some cheese in it, barely tasted any garlic. To me, not worth the money or time to get take out here.

First time trying this place and it was not disappointed. Excellent staff, nice atmosphere and the pizza was delicious. Its a nice drive from Louisville but if im ever in the area I will definitely stop and get a pie.

Fantastic pizza! We had both deep dish abd tavern style. I’m a sucker for the thin crust, tavern style pizza, so thst was easily my favorite. The sausage is great–pepperoni too. No wait when we went. Very attentive staff. We will be back!

Food’s great and they make a great old fashioned! The service is outstanding and they took great care of us both times we ate there! I highly recommend you try this place out. The bartenders are well trained and know their drinks. We’ve had both the original thick crust and thin crust. Both are great but I prefer a thin crust oven a thick crust.
There is definitely nothing else around here that can compare in the taste and quality and the atmosphere. Don’t pass them by, give Chi a try!

The pizza is legitimately Chicago style. My server Bailey was amazing. I will be ordering a mother load of pizzas from this place. Keep up the good work. Oh FYI I ate the pice missing from my order.

I will follow up with the picture. My husband got take out and it was wonderful. I took my grandson there for his birthday because that’s where he wanted to go out of this place and lime water or another restaurant I gave him three different alternatives. It was a thin flat pizza. Nothing like what we got previously and when I said something about it being so thin the owner came out and to be truthful he was just rude. I’ve been an investor in restaurants and into pizza companies. Which of both done very well. And he was just ugly. And I won’t be back. It’s a pizza The ones that we had gotten previously were good but the rudeness and the audacity of the owner, well, I won’t go back…

Super quiet place when we came but the weather was terrible and it was before anyone might have been heading in for dinner. Got the meatball appetizer and the deep dish with spinach. Both were excellent. Service was great and the wait for the deep dish didn’t seem like 30 mins because of the mellow atmosphere. We did drive right past the parking area the first time though, signage was a little small and we aren’t local to the area.

First time trying this for my friend and I. We won’t be waiting long before going back. A restaurant was clean, had a great atmosphere and was the perfect temperature for this cold rainy day. The staff were super friendly and proactive with refills, which we all know is a big thing.
Now for the pizza. We both had the thin crust and neither one of us left anything on our plates. They were small by name, but not in actual size. The pizza was hot, the toppings were fresh and plentiful, and the flavor was great. Well worth getting to Simpsonville for this hidden gem.
