It was a great experience, the orange chicken and sushi I ordered was delicious. I got a free refill and many winks from the robot that drove past our table. Our server was extremely kind and gave us a free dessert. The place was nice with colorful lighting and cool designs. Overall this dinner was a great experience and if you are near hear come to enjoy the best dinner of your life.

Such good food! Sushi here is great! It might be a bit pricy but good quality! This service feels like moms care (not actually). Can’t really say a lot because I haven’t been here for a little bit but what I can remember it’s great definitely doesn’t deserve 3.9 but 5!

I get this food for Xmas every year and it’s always be good expect this year was different. My wonton soup was all broth and one dumpling with no flavor. The chicken lettuce wrap container was half filled. My sushi didn’t come with wasabi. Lo mein had no flavor. The food used to be better.

A very cozy and clean place. The staffs are nice and food is great. It’s apparent that the bar counter is very popular here. The lobster is surprisingly delicious. Everything is beyond my expectation.

My duck fried rice had no meat in it and only ducks skin and duck fat. Also, the vegetables in it were not fresh. They were definitely frozen peas and carrots, and it was really weird because the top of my rice was cold while the bottom was warm, leading me to think that they had just use extra leftovers. As soon as we walked in the waitress told us “you need to hurry up and order because we’re closing soon “we got there at 8:15 and she said that they closed at 9:15 when the hours on the door said 1015. My boyfriend’s sushi was $20 with and there was only eight pieces.

The food is great and the place itself has a great atmosphere. The only complaint I have is how long I waited for water/food to arrive. The service isn’t the best but it’s a great dinner spot overall. They even have a little robot employee, took me by surprise but it’s so cute!

Unacceptable Service Overshadowed Everything
My experience at Chi Modern Asian Cuisine was extremely disappointing. With only three guests at the bar, there was no excuse for the bartender to take so long just to acknowledge me and take my drink order.
After finally ordering soup and appetizers, the soup took 30 minutes to arrive, and the appetizers never came. When I asked for the bill, the bartender casually asked, “Don’t you want your appetizers?” as if I hadn’t been waiting the whole time. I told him I still wanted them, and they were hastily packed to-go with no apology or explanation.
The service was so poor that it ruined the entire experience. Even if the food had been great and the atmosphere enjoyable, none of it mattered by the end. When the service is this bad, everything else no matter how good feels second-rate. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values their time or basic customer service.
