Spacious, clean, big portion sizes and decent price. The food comes out very fast and it’s more of an in and out type of restaurant. Some people make reservations but we did not. You will have a lot of leftovers as well. 1 App and 2 entrees came out to be $80, no tips but 18% service charge added. The hand made noodles is really good.

spacious and well done on all dishes. felt so nostalgic being served food family style in the stainless steel 大盆 that my asian relatives would. the scallion pancakes were well done and not too oily, the chicken gizzards were more gizzard than sour beans, and the star of the show was the cabbage with vinegar – so simple but so good. the boiled fish was so generous, definitely need at least 5-6 people to fully kill. lots of leftovers which isn’t my preference, but noted for future big group dinners!

When I googled the area for soup, this restaurant popped up. Went over to check it out and wanted to try the beef noodle soup. It did not disappoint. The beef was super tender and the soup had so much flavor, so much body and depth to the taste. I also opted for hand pulled noodles as well. It was so delicious. Their green onion pancakes were so fluffy, like eating a warm pillow. I would definitely come back.
The staff was super nice too. Checking up on me to make sure I was good. The chef came out too and asked how was the food. Super friendly and an amazing spot to eat at.

Honestly, passed by this place going to Costco so many times. Finally checked out the restaurant for Amex deal with Resy. The staff were friendly. I was surprised how good the food is. The eggplant pork noodles were amazing and the rest of the food is go back for. Highly recommend.

Food was not as spicy as I like but good. They put someone else’s on our table. Lucky we notice it was our.

One of our favorite Chinese restaurants in the peninsula – venue is clean and spacious, and the food is consistently good every time. The green onion pancake and cilantro beef are the best. The service is always attentive and prompt. There is no customization of dishes and tips are built into the cost – may seem more rigid with restaurant rules compared to others, but nothing unreasonable.

Tips aren’t asked for/accepted at this location, they’re baked into your bill and clearly explained as to why. Chez Xue has been nothing but an amazing lunch option for me and my colleagues ESPECIALLY if you check their email promotions for discounts on certain menu items on certain days! They’re absolutely worth it, I love the quality taste for price at this restaurant. Godfather noodles are the best bang for your buck in my opinion!

Always stop by here when driving to the bay. It’s like having comfort food without the hassle of cooking and cleaning after.
They charge 18% gratuity on your bill, which I say is so worth it. From the time you take your sit, to the time your food comes to your table after ordering, fast and efficient! Server is also very attentive to your needs.
Oh, the food! IMHO they definitely one of the best in Foster City!

Ordered chili chicken. Zero seasoning. Bland fried chicken. A lot of fried dried red chillies that we couldn’t chew so had to separate out. Overpriced. Not worth visiting again
