Good steakhouse downtown Geneva. Been there a few times and if the menu changes with time, I’ve always found everything quite good. Obviously, as a steakhouse, they offer many dishes of meat, but there are always 4-5 nice meals from the sea on the menu as well. Vegan choices are, however, very limited. Expensive and noisy but the atmosphere is nice.

The restaurant has two floors – a bar downstairs and a dining area upstairs. There is both an outdoor terrace and an indoor section with an open kitchen you can look into. Every day there are large cuts available that are not listed on the menu, and the Wagyu tomahawk is highly recommended! Service is quick, the wines are rather expensive compared to similar restaurants, but the foie gras is excellent. There is also a wide selection of desserts. This place is definitely recommended for meat lovers!

Disappointing. We didn’t realised our veal and steak were served without any sauce till the end of meal when we saw what the next table had. We ordered three main courses (veal, steak, bone marrow) and a side for two persons. Funny how the waiter asked us if we wanted more sides, wine, desserts but never asked or offered sauces to go with the meat. Ww liked the restaurant decor and vibes, and enjoyed the veal and bone marrow. The steak (Swiss) was dry despite being medium rare and bland. Have a sauce to go with it would have made a huge difference. Despite raising this to the server, all we got was a shrug of his shoulders. The cold service ruined what could have been a pleasant Valentine Day lunch.

Always a great experience at Chez Philippe. You know the service will be great and the food as well. Their salads, meat and sides are delicious, but don’t forget to leave some space for the desert. Definitely worth it!

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The 250g ribeye steak was cooked to perfection; beautifully seasoned, tender, and full of flavour, and the overall quality of the food was outstanding. What really elevated the evening, though, was the service from Cassandre. She was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional, striking the perfect balance between being helpful and letting us enjoy our meal. Nothing was too much trouble, and her recommendations were spot on. Exceptional food paired with genuinely great service! Highly recommend!

Enjoyed a lovely dinner here on a Monday Eve. Only complaint would be the fact that there was no one really in the restaurant and we were placed directly next to an occupied table. Presuming busy time was about an hour after we arrived, it was somewhat understandable but truly unnecessary.
The food was fantastic. And overall, the noise was very minimal even once the restaurant filled.

I was dining with my father, who is in a wheelchair, and from the very beginning the entire staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful. They adapted the service perfectly to ensure his comfort, with genuine care and respect.
Nathan welcomed us warmly upon arrival, and all of his coworkers were absolutely perfect throughout the lunch. The service felt seamless and professional at every moment.
The food was delicious, especially the Kobe beef. The person who served it was extremely knowledgeable, gave excellent advice, and handled the service with real expertise.

The location was great. The grill has both an indoor area and a terrace. By 7 PM on Friday it was quite empty, that made me surprised.
The food was good — not amazing, but enjoyable. The staff were nice and welcoming.
It’s quite expensive, but that’s typical for good places in Geneva. 🙂
