The Escargot was amazing! Buttery, herby, and delicious. I would definitely order it again.
The Foie Gras was good too. It was a light and flavorful bite.
The Roasted Duck was ok. It is served medium rare/rare and the fat wasn’t rendered down, so it was quite chewy. The sauce was one note and didn’t taste like much, so I wouldn’t order it again.
I appreciate the waiter trying his best to go out of his way and help an English party in a French restaurant. However, he was quite short with us and made comments under his breath.
Overall, it is your normal French restaurant, and I wouldn’t race to recommend it to someone in the area.
I can’t wait to come back. Perfect place for a dinner meeting or any occasion
The food was good and reasonably priced. If you’re not big on spice, beware! the sauce au poivre is no joke (I loved it though).
Sides? The gratin dauphinois was really good ; fries… not so much.
The frisée aux lardons was good – just ask for extra sauce!
My mom loved the tarte fine à la tomate and she’s not wrong, it was delicious.
The poireaux vinaigrette was kinda meh.
And honestly, any restaurant that serves profitéroles never disappoints 🙂
Good spot for a nice meal out!
Puffs with ice cream and chocolate sauce. Wine and atmosphere topped it off. A must visit while in Paris!
The Confit Duck was very garlicky and the potatoes were like chips (quite hard and crispy outside and soft inside). The snails were very good and comes with a 2 pronged fork. Similar to what we had before. The Onion Soup was okay, no specific verifications.
Drinks:
The Coca-Cola was 4,80€ and water free of charge (tap water).
Service:
The service was quite quick and the waiters were patient, kind and very friendly.
Toilet:
I personally found the toilet quite small, and men and woman were in the same cubicles. Taps were only cold water.
Atmosphere:
Good vibes, seating on two sides of the pavement with umbrellas and when it got dark, lights were added.
Overall, I would recommend this.
