Let’s start out with the good stuff. My wife and I came in on a Friday night. The atmosphere and aesthetics of the place are amazing. It’s a nice, somewhat quiet, restaurant converted from an old house. The ambiance was great. The service was decent, nothing went wrong. I feel like, for the price, it could have been a little better. On top of that, my chair was incredibly uncomfortable. I had to keep repositioning myself throughout the meal.

Fantastic French cuisine and friendly service make Chez Nous a wonderful place to dine out. The escargot (5.5/5) and crab tower (5/5) are highly recommended appetizers. For dinner, the scallops (5/5) were excellent and the duck confit with pears (5/5) was next-level!

Just celebrated my 80th birthday at Chez Nous with six of my best birthday buddies. The staff made us all welcome with lovely table in the side room. The food was wonderful. We all chose from the Prix Fixe menu, quite a bargain in these times. I’ve since moved into town but will drive back to Humble just to enjoy another meal at this outstanding restaurant.

Consistently excellent in almost every way. The new servers are young and a little bit inexperienced but enthusiastic and working hard. The food continues to be insanely good – don’t forget the charcuterie platter, the heirloom tomato salad (but you got to ask for the original vinaigrette), and the scallops & shrimp with bacon jam and risotto. Oh man!

Absolutely rude to guests. Got a dessert that had no filling it was just crust. Food was mediocre at best and spent over $400 taking my mother there for Mother’s Day. It’s not worth the money. The best dish there is the Escargot.

My wife and I tried their 5 course tasting menu this evening . It was “ok” for the $100 tag. The second course scallops had whole peppercorns and biting into them ruined the dish. Third (main course) was a tiny piece of pork chop that was overly salted and pretty terrible.

Our son &.daughter-in-law & we hosted a dinner @ Chez Nous on a Friday. We had eaten there before celebrating our anniversary. Our Canadian relatives & friends were delighted with the rooms decor. The best part, of course, was the food, wine & presentation. The staff were attentive without being intrusive.

Waited 45 minutes just to get a menu. The only time we saw our waiter was to get our drink order, refill a drink, and to drop the check. The manager had to take our food order (after an hour and fifteen minutes of waiting). Extremely disappointing service, but the food was good. We tipped the busboy as much as the server because his service was 15x better than the waiter’s. If you’re going to eat here, don’t arrive hungry.
