Visited on a Saturday night and the place was nice and busy. Service was maybe a teeny bit slow, but each course arrived fairly quickly. Starters of french onion soup and cheesy mushrooms were very nice. We both had moulles et frites, which was a huge portion of mussels. A bit of grit in the mussels (which you always get but this was perhaps a little bit too much). Still, excellent food and service, and we would definitely return.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chez Moi, a charming French cuisine restaurant that offered an exquisite two or three-course meal.
We started with Prawn cocktails & Chicken liver pâté which were so fresh and flavorful.
For main, we opted for the pan-fried Salmon fillet & grilled Lamb chops which were perfectly cooked and delicious.
We concluded our meals with Chocolate profiteroles & a cup of Espresso.
Chez Moi exceeded my expectations with its exquisite food, elegant presentation, and charming atmosphere. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to indulge in authentic French cuisine.

Thank you to Chez Moi for allowing us to use their back room for a wedding meal yesterday. We truly could not have asked for a better experience.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the servers were incredibly attentive throughout. All of our guests enjoyed the meal and there was a great range of choices, and many different dishes were ordered. Despite the group size, all meals arrived at the same time and were piping hot, which is no small feat.
As always, the price was very reasonable and the food quality excellent.
I’d also like to respond to a comment I saw suggesting the chef has “forgotten what French food is.” We were in Paris this summer, and Chez Moi stands up to any restaurant we visited there. including some of the most popular spots in Paris.
This place is one of the best local spots to go to and people should come for a meal.

Went on Valentines night after seeing the LightPort lightshow. Food was excellent, I had the hake dish which I would thoroughly recommend with the excellent Moulles to start . My wife had a steak with chips and a prawns cocktail starter . Great food and atmosphere. Thank you guys !

I have been during the day and had meal from lunch menu. Seafood pizza and glass of wine. Great deal, honestly. Pizza was on an odd base but generally nice and full of salmon and shrimps.
The only thing that the service could be a bit quicker, we were waiting ages for the staff.
Definitely will be back to try other things from the menu .

Amazing food and service. An easily missed gem on Lord street, but well worth a visit. Great food made to order from a good menu. Highly recommend. It was nice to meet the Chef who came out to see if all was OK too.

An absolutely wonderful place! Not fine dining but great food in an unpretentious restaurant. Salvatore and Pedro were great hosts and the atmosphere was joyful.
Thoroughly enjoyed the food and lovely service. Great value for money too. If I lived in Southport this would be my local restaurant!

You don’t find many places like this anymore, not in England anyway. It’s a small, independent, friendly place where you feel genuinely welcome and the food is great too. The guy who owns it/runs it is so kind to everyone and nothing is too much trouble. It’s not going to win a Michelin star, but actually that’s a failure on the part of Michelin rather than this restaurant, because small independent places that cook good food day in, day out, ought to be recognised more. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to eat when I’m visiting my friend in Southport.
