From my perspective one of the best and most authentic French restaurants in Berlin. The food is absolutely delicious and the chef, every time you compliment him on his food, is authentically happy. I had times, when the kitchen had its ups and downs. However, the quality is unmatched. Never miss a good time at Chez Maurice! If you are in Berlin, this is definitely a must do. Cozy, lovely French ambience. Food was terrific! I enjoyed lamb shank with rich sauce. My dinner partners had beef filet, cooked to perfect temp, also with delicious sauce. Creme brulee was the best we’ve had….better than in Paris. Good wine pairing. Only complaint was paper napkins! For the price paid, I expected cloth napkins. Maybe COVID virus the reason?

The waiter listened what your preferences and made great recommendations for wine selection. They prepared food with heart, it represented diverse flavors that melted in your mouth, especially the Coq au vin soup, terrific tasty. It is on my list of one of the best restaurants in Berlin.

very limited menu options, the food was incredibly hot, almost burned my mouth eating it, ordered coq au vin, the quantity was so much i couldn’t finish it, the carrots weren’t properly cooked, so it was ok, ordered red wine which was not so good but it’s cheap so cant complain, they’ll bring double quantity of wine without even asking which wasnt good, if u air the wine for sometimes then it’s palatable. also it’s bit on the expensive side with main couses mostly on 25€ range gping till 50s.

From the moment I stepped inside, I knew this wasn’t going to be an ordinary meal. The warm lighting, subtle background music, and welcoming smiles from the staff set the tone immediately. The service was attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Deliciously made food would definitely recommend!
