this place is so cute ! the service was very good with attentive staff that took time to explain the pastries. i was asked several times if i wanted more hot water for my tea. the plates were cleared quickly after finishing our pastry. the place is intimate, but not stuffy. the lemon meringue is worth another trip alone! just perfect. the earl grey i had was not very fragrant. just tasted like black tea. i would suggest they use smaller plates and utensils for serving certain items. as you see my one dessert looked tiny on the plate. i will revisit. i really enjoyed myself.

I absolutely loved eating here. The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful whenever we had questions about the menu. The patisserie was so cute and sleek-looking. The food and drinks came out very fast and it was some of the most delicious food I’ve had. Their Chez Marie was warming and had a beautiful blend of flavors, not to mention how crunchy and immediately fluffy their French baguette for the sandwich was. Their hazelnut tart tasted like FUN, no other way to describe it. It felt like an autumn party in my mouth, yet just teetered the line between decadent and sickly sweet. Their chai had a subtle fall flavor that you constantly wanted to go back for more. I highly recommend eating here.

I love a good coffee and a dessert that’s perfect from presentation to flavor, with its balance, textures, contrast, and freshness. All their desserts are fresh daily, and you can taste the quality. It’s my favorite coffee shop in CLT. The atmosphere and the friendliness of all the staff are exceptional. Claudia is outstanding; she’s always making sure everything is perfect and is very attentive throughout the service. You can feel her passion for giving a great experience to everyone who comes to the coffee shop, and she knows how to explain the flavor profiles, from the desserts to the teas. All the employees are very friendly and helpful.

I was really disappointed. After reading all the amazing reviews we were in Charlotte for a visit and decided to give this place a try. The atmosphere was pretty but that was all to it . The employees behind the counter did not understand English ?! Nothing close to European cafes’ or patisseries . Their cake and croissants aren’t that special ; They just look tempting. The space looks much crowded & smaller than the photos online as well .

Absolutely loved this coffee shop and bakery! The place is small but super cozy and beautifully designed — every detail looks perfect. The desserts were insanely good, and the coffee (we tried the blue matcha) was amazing too. The tables are a bit tiny — we barely fit our drinks and desserts — but honestly, it didn’t take away from the experience at all. Such a lovely spot, I’d totally come back again! ☕

They serve drinks in real mugs, not plastic cups, and the plates and forks are real ones, not plastic.

We reserved a “tea time”. It came with our choice of tea(very tasty) served with milk or honey. Desserts (Madeleines, macaroons…)all yummy, and small hand sandwiches(egg salad, prosciutto, and cheese). The dressing/jam on the prosciutto and cheese sandwiches were a bit sweet. The egg sandwich surprisingly was seasoned nicely. The cashier brought over our food, explained each item, unfortunately that was the last of our interaction until we requested boxes for the last of the food.

Started off with the Blue chai latte which was absolutely delicious, not too overpowering, just right.
The deserts were top tier treats. The Coconut mojito is packed with coconut and lime flavors. Very moist cake inside with a coconut moose jello like outer ring, topped with white chocolate. The Passion fruit cheesecake has a soft cheesecake texture with a big passion fruit flavor.
The Quiche Loraine had smoky ham pieces inside alongside a delicious gooey cheese. The only thing I would change is the crust because it was a bit too thick. The Le Picque-Nique had all fresh ingredients. A Crunchy toasted baguette with smoked ham and beautifully blended toppings. Doesn’t get any fresher than that.
Overall, Perfect spot for couples and a girls brunch or lunch. Definitely check them out!!!
