We found this little gem while scrolling the restaurants featured in the Flavors of South Florida. Maybe you hear about a French restaurant and think it might be stuffy, or maybe even snobby, but rest assured, neither is the case here
This is a very charming spot for a night out. The staff is as warm and welcoming as your childhood best friend’s mom. From the hostess, to our server, Francine, we felt comfortable, valued, and appreciated
We tried the French Onion Soup. It was hearty and cheesy. In a lot of cases, it can be very salt forward, but here, it’s served with a lot of a lighter touch which we liked a lot. We also had the classic, Duck A L’Orange. The meat was tender, the skin was crispy, and the sauce was sweet and tangy. The Chocolate Fondant for dessert was a rich as a tech bro, but without any of the attitude.
From what I gather, this is a local and independently owned establishment. I don’t think there’s even a restaurant group involved. This is a small business, built by the hands and the hearts of the owners. They pour their hearts into their food and you can taste it in every bite

Had a dinner there.
Salad with goat cheese and pear was almost good. The cheese was very good and the pear was excellent. The greens were fresh but rather dry, the sauce didn’t work for me, olive oil would make it better, again, in my view.
Chef’s shrimps – were rather boring, the sauce was made with too much mustard, in my view, and didn’t work well with shrimps.
Wine – French Pino Noir, could be better.
Payment, strange thing. There were 2 prices – one for paying with cash and another for paying with credit card. Wanted to pay with Apple Pay, it didn’t worked, as the waiter said the terminal doesn’t work (?). So, gave a card. That payment thing, though not a big deal, left not good impression.

Route 1 Soccer
A very enjoyable experience. Food was savory: escargot, duck a l’orange, Frenched rack of lamb, creme brulee, and a French chardonnay. Interior design and decorating adds to French authenticity. Service was good. And we met the namesake, Marie, who actively interacts with her patrons as soon as they arrive, seating them and ensuring their enjoyment. Very memorable and worth sharing. Reserve for your next special event or no event at all. Bon appétit!

The escargot is one of the best! The sauce is so delicious and bursts with flavor. The french onion soup is perfectly seasoned and filling. I got the 6oz filet mignon topped with foie grais, and that was perfect for me after all the appetizers. The lavender creme brulee is a must try!!! It was not too sweet with a more forward profile of eggs and cream. The lavender was subtle but impactful and the hardened sugar on top just tied it perfectly together. We demolished it before I remembered to capture a picture.
The service was fabulous as well. I had such a good time here and 100% recommend!

I came here with my husband for valentines night.
They are definitely under rated for the service and the food.
Compare to most of the French restaurants in Boca, their price is much cheaper and the food is much better.
I hope more people would realize how amazing this little place is.

I went there today to celebrate my wedding anniversary. I couldn’t help but write this message and say that I had an excellent dinner. I ordered duck with orange and my wife ordered salmon. Both were delicious. For dessert we had creme brulee. Thank you all for the excellent experience we had.

Had a lovely mother-daughter (plus toddler) evening at Chez Marie. They were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. We chose the 3 course menu which was an amazing value and the food is fresh, delicious and well seasoned. I highly recommend this restaurant for a casual evening, date night or a special occasion!

Chez Marie is one of my favorite restaurants in Boca Raton. It’s hidden away in the Polo Shopping Center near a Publix. The inside is absolutely charming and they also offer outdoor seating, although there’s less of a vibe because you’re seeing a shopping center parking lot. The menu offers a broad range of French classics and the food is always spectacular. My personal favorite is the duck a l’orange. It’s a meal large enough for two and I usually try to get someone to split it with me so I can also get the foie gras appetizer and still have room for dessert. My entire life I have loved chocolate mousse! I’m often bummed at restaurants that have it on the dessert menu because they add liqueurs for flavoring. I love my chocolate mousse to be completely chocolate and at Chez Marie it is. Yummy all around!!

This place is truly a hidden gem in Boca and authentically French. It’s a small and cozy spot, with very romantic mood-lighting – perfect for date night, anniversaries, birthdays, etc. The cooking and service, as expected, is excellent. The owner is incredibly kind and is often around to say hello and see if anyone needs anything. I honestly can’t praise this place enough!
