Thoughtful decor, approachable menu. Loved the beet salad. Hamachi crudo was so flavorful. And after seeing all the pics of the French onion soup…how can you not? Preparation was superb.
Staff was so attentive. The whole place is an all-around excellent experience.
Recommending to all my Denver friends.

Chez Maggy was an absolute standout. I loved the interior and decor, especially how they incorporated natural elements into the design, it feels elegant but warm and inviting. I had the steak frites and a Caesar salad and both were phenomenal. The steak was incredibly tender and not chewy at all, and the fries were perfect, pillowy on the inside with a great crunch on the outside. The salad was fresh and crisp, and the dressing was rich and flavorful without being overpowering. Everything from the atmosphere to the food made for an excellent experience, and I can’t wait to come back.

Where do I begin.
Our server Jeff was the absolute best. Attentive, great suggestions, not over- bearing.
The manager checked on us a few times made us feel at home
The hostess was very busy. She made sure EVERYONE was accounted for. She listened to our request.
The restaurant itself was as described by others. The music played outside the restaurant could be heard throughout seating was close, but you could have a private conversation.
The food was very tasty. Delicious, mouth watering
Had the Trout. Cordon bleu and Brussels sprouts
I highly recommend the Brussels sprouts…each and every sprout was cooked to perfection, I’ve never had that anywhere
The drink selection was awesome.
All of this very affordable and reasonable
Worth it.
The food, and staff made this a memorable dinner experience.

Had one of the best eggs benedict dishes ever at Chez Maggy this morning. As a matter of fact, we all loved our breakfast experience here. The food is great and the service was outstanding this morning making it a real treat to dine here, especially if your staying at the Thompson.

Really awesome place with such a cool vibe. The French onion soup is top notch. It’s a huge serving! I got the pumpkin gnocchi and it was just ok, pretty sweet for my taste but the gnocchi itself was amazing. The drinks were fantastic! Our server was impeccable and very attentive or our large party.

Had a very nice brunch out on their deck/patio seating. Service was friendly and quick, both with drinks and food. Weekday late morning luck I am thinking. We did not realize they were part of a hotel (The Thompson). Drinks were good, perfect on strength and the house mix was nicely done. Weekday late morning both enjoyed our breakfast sandwiches. They do add gratuity to the check so watch for that!

Fantastic dinner! We got the striped bass and lamb shoulder. Both are amazing, for $36 for each.
The lamb shoulder is huge and it’s so tender, the tomato sauce is so good, and the fried cute is very creamy! I don’t know what that is but it’s so good.
The striped bass is huge, the mashed potato is also tasty with olive oil.
I used FHR $100 credit, and in total it caused $93 so there is still $7 left for tomorrow’s breakfast here. (FHR gives $60 credit for breakfast already.)

Came here for breakfast while staying at Thompson hotel since we had $60 credit a day for breakfast (through AMEX perk). Food and service were great—our server Elliot was friendly and attentive!
We enjoyed the Croque Madame, Avocado Toast and Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken. The Simple Breakfast was good too but just your basic breakfast with eggs, bacon and toast. For drinks, we got the Mimosa Karafe ($40) which was a great deal to share for two people, at least 4-5 glasses.

I was so blown away by this place! We went for an Easter brunch and it was my first time going. The atmosphere, decor, service, and food were all top-tier! The Easter brunch deal was amazing as it was only $55 per person to include an entree and as much as you could eat of the Easter treats up front. All of the food was absolutely amazing and had a true French quality. Nothing was overdressed, overly sweet, and the presentation was perfect. Amazing service, and the manager even stopped to check on how things were going several times. To top it all, they brought us complimentary champagne at the end! Such a great spot

This was our third time to stay at The Thompson in about a year. The lobby bar and Chez Maggy never disappoint. Last night before the Chris Stapleton show, we stopped in for happy hour, which is very reasonably priced. We had escargot and split a Caesar Salad. Our cocktails were delicious.
This morning we woke up and had brunch before doing Denver. Again, great cocktails and great food. Whether you’re leaning in to the French cuisine or playing it safe with an American classic like a bacon cheeseburger, you’re going to have good food.
Oh, and to the diners next to us who ordered the steak frites well done with a side of ranch and then described them as “underwhelming,” that’s on you.
