Chez Les Copains in Orlando delivers a stellar take on classic French cuisine in a warm, inviting setting, with excellent service. The waiters know the menu by memory and give great recommendations. Jill the manger was attentive and very welcoming to all the tables.

We started with the crab croquette with remoulade, perfectly crisp with a tangy kick, followed by the 10g Cavier with crème fraîche, a luxurious, buttery bite. The steak tartare, paired with capers, cornichons, stone-ground mustard, and bone marrow, was rich and impeccably balanced. The highlight was the duck à l’orange, featuring crispy skin, tender meat, and a beautifully bright, citrusy sauce.

Every dish was expertly prepared, showcasing bold flavors and French finesse. A must-visit for lovers of fine dining in Orlando!

My fiance and I went on a date to Chez Les Copains to grab drinks and apps two weeks ago and it was so amazing we went back a week later to do a full dinner! The staff provides exceptional service and if you haven’t had a martini from here, you need to. Their French 75 was as good, if not better than the one I had sitting in Paris. The oysters are clean and paired perfectly with house made toppings. Blue cheese and mussels?… What? Do yourself a favor and try them, ITS AMAZING! For entrees we got the salmon and the duck. They were both cooked to perfection and left us full! We can’t wait to go back for another date night soon!

My husband and I recently visited for brunch with another couple, and I have to say, this has officially become my new favorite brunch spot! Normally, I’m not a fan of traditional brunch foods because they tend to be too sweet, but this place offers a fantastic variety, and every dish was incredible. We started with the Mushroom Duxelle and Potato Rosti for small bites, while our friends tried the Crab Croquette. For our mains, we shared the Parisian Escargot, and they went for the Steak Tartare & Bone Marrow. Then, we had the French Dip, and they went for the Lobster Eggs Benedict. I was absolutely blown away by how everything turned out – everything was perfectly executed and bursting with flavor. I can’t wait to come back and explore their dinner menu! Highly recommend!

A French inspired resturant in Orlando??? Yes please! This new addition to the Orlando culinary scene is most welcomed and they are off to a good start.

*First off, this review is during soft opening and many things are subject to change.*

This French inspired resturant did not disappoint with very strong flavors and well seasoned dishes. The use of herbs and spices were very prominent, especially in dishes such as the potato leak soup and tuna crudo. The appetizers were very good but I will say some more than others justify their price points. Desserts were very good and are not overly sweet which is to be expected from a legit French dessert. Something to keep in mind if you are desiring something very sweet or indulgent.

Staff were all extremely nice, knowledgeable, and engaging. This is a very vital component to any resturant in my eyes. I also noticed the kitchen staff to be extremely focused, but also having a good time in what they were doing. Keep this up! A positive environment will translate into good food and a favorable outcome in service.

The one negative I can say is parking which can be a bit rough for this location. The most reliable way is to use the parking garage nearby which could be pricier depending on the night and time of day. This is no reflection on the resturant itself however.

Overall, this resturant is going to have a bright future ahead of them and I definitely recommend to check it out if you are looking for elevated French cuisine. I hope to return in a month or two to update this review.

I came in during soft open and absolutely loved the entire meal. Food is excellent and the staff is even better. Danny, Jill, Christian and Ben were all delightful. The crab croquette was the best thing I’ve had in quite some time. Cannot wait to come back!

I went to grab dinner with my friend, and it was AMAZING! I saw they that they have a pre set menu for $38 honestly it was the best! Three courses for $38 is a steal, we had the salmon as our main, 10/10 the salmon was crispy on the outside while soft on the inside and the sauce matched it perfectly.
The only thing that left a bad taste was the table we were sitting at was not level and it kept rocking back and forth, just a small thing.

Overall I highly recommend giving Chez Les Copain a try.

I couldn’t believe my eyes when my seafood platter($45) arrived. Can you believe it’s a portion for TWO people…? And tastes was not exceptional. You had better to have oysters if you wanted to eat some seafood as appetizers. Second visit was so disappointing as I had a really good experience during the soft opening… Portion of stake tartar was so small to compare with the portion of true brasserie in France. It was better to come with French fries than toast.

Visited a couple of weeks ago during soft open. Location is on the second floor of the soon to reopen food hall near Ivanhoe. The space is very nice – the restaurant in a narrow rectangular space with the open kitchen separated by a large picture window on one of the long sides and a well-stocked bar on the back. There are seats arranged outside, which should be nice during the warmer months.

The restaurant calls itself inspired by French brasseries and the touches are there. Service is great, atmosphere is cozy, and the food presentation is top-notch.

We ordered the steak frites and bouillabaisse. Portions are small, so maybe appetizers for those with larger appetites. I was hoping for an entrecote, but for the soft open they were only service filet steak frites. Because I thought the filet would be a standard size and I wasn’t sure how the kitchen would prepare it, ordered medium well, which was my mistake, since it was a small portion served cut in four slices. Next time medium at the most, medium rare possibly.

Fries were great and the filet nicely prepared. The sauce, to me, was too divergent from the classic entrecote sauce as offered from Cafe de Paris and others – moreover, sauce portion was small. Partner had the bouillabaisse, which she liked, but was less of a seafood with fish soup dish, but seafood with sauce.

Had the apple gallete for dessert, very delicious. Total for two mains, dessert and an after dinner beverage was about $130ish. Am looking forward to the prix fixe offering which should start once the restaurant begins regular operations.

Final remark – I had written a similar review shortly after my visit, but noticed that it had been removed.

I came to this place because they have $6 drinks Wednesday to Friday’s and this place did NOT disappoint! The drinks were insanely good but the food was even better! I got the old fashioned and the French 75. I ordered the steak frites and they were top 3 I’ve ever had. It’s a nice intimate dining area and they have great balcony seating that you can look out onto the courtyard. Definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back often.
