My first visit to Chez Lahlous and it wont be my last! So much interesting food to choose from, at our table we had everything from frogs legs, snails, steak, scallops, veal, and garlic sausage, the portion sizes were generous but the quantity did not mean a compromise and quality, very delicious well made food and the service and atmosphere was lovely. They even kindly wrapped up on what we didn’t eat. The garlic bread and chicken wings were a fab surprise to accompany the dinner too. We will definitely be back.

First time been to this restaurant Chez Lahlou’s. We ordered a starter and a main course and we had free chicken wings and garlic breads before the starter and main course. We really enjoyed the meals. The main course was absolutely big portion. Excellent value for every meal we’ve had. Lovely atmosphere, Cosy and romantic. Definitely going back and will recommend to someone.

Tasty food in massive portions.
We were also given free garlic bread and chicken wings which were delicious.
Did end up taking some of the food but that just meant we had meals sorted for the next day. Would recommend!

My 12 year old daughter and I stayed over for a break in sheffield and we fancied to try something a little different so we searched on Google a French restaurant. This one came up and we thought we would try it. We are both very picky and we cannot say one bad thing about the food. Normally you get quantity over quality or quality over quantity but this has both. We both couldn’t finish our main course after having a starter each. I have a very big appetite and I never normally get beaten by food. On this occasion I did. The lady was on her own serving us was very polite and helpful and non stop serving everyone. All im all.the food was sensational and id recommend this restaurant to anyone. Word of warning though make sure you turn up on an empty stomach so you can finish your meal.

A very nice place, overall very good, homemade food, portions are large (in some cases massive) and there is a good deal of complimentary dishes coming with any order of starters or mains (chicken wings, garlic bread, vegetables platter and potato wedges). One needs to be very hungry to manage to finish everything, but the owners are more than happy to pack the leftovers (quite common as it seems). For reference, we got beef wellington, salmon with tomato/garlic sauce, sirloin steak with wine/cream/mushroom sauce and onion soup. Service and value for money are great.. I give 4/5 stars because it is not a “true” french experience.

Definitely a hidden gem this place. Was recommended by a few friends and had to try and they were right, it was incredible. Had free chicken wing starters and garlic bread, could of eaten the chicken wings all night and leave happy. Had the scallop starter which was really tasty. The main dishes surprised us as the portion sizes was sooo big with extra veg. It was Definitely value for money. Highly recommended.

This place is awesome! I really can’t praise this place enough. We both ordered a steak each, and the starters come with the meal. Garlic bread, chicken wings, and vegetables with dip were all in with the main meal at no extra charge. The steak was lovely and came with all the trimmings. You won’t leave there hungry. Highly recommended and good value for money, in a cosy relaxing setting. Thanks to the staff for being so accommodating.
