We visited Tuesday night for the e we one deal, 2 courses and a bottle of wine each. The place was very busy so book ahead. The building is amazing just like the food. The staff were very professional but helpful with the menu. Most people had wine bottles on their tables and empty plates. Our meals were great, even nibbled a snail but not again for me but I tried it.

We didn’t book a table here ,just popped in for lunch ,they had a lunchtime menu deal.
I had Mushroom Fricassee followed by Boeuf Bourgenion served with seasonal vegetables of sprouts, carrots, red cabbage and dauphinoise potatoes. It was all delicious. The fruit crumble was tart but served with cinnamon clotted cream to complement it.
Really nicely decorated restaurant including the ladies room, which smelt wonderful with L’Occitane hand products

Amazing !!!!!
We ordered the following
French onion soup
Baked Camembert
Beef stroganoff with season veg and garlic potato
Demi Roti lemon and herb with garlic potato
We also ordered Lemon pie, no photo sorry it arrived looking amazing and we divided in.
Food was really good, service 10/10 and the atmosphere was very traditionally France.

If you want a quiet restaurant this is definitely not IT. Now if you want a lively happy restaurant then you have found it. It is noisy with conversations and laughter. The staff are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is of great quality and very well cooked. A most enjoyable meal. Great value for money.

It was early about 4pm on a Wednesday so it wasn’t going to be mad busy, but this was a late lunch. Foods surprising good, I had goat cheese with an olive tapinard, goats cheese can be hard to choose I love the strong goat taste but this was mild but still had taste and was rich in fat the tapinard just complimented the cheese, my wife had ham hock which again was very good. Main I had commit belly pork with a white bean and sausage stew which I expected a clear broth but received a tomato based stew, it was nice, the wife had a chicken breast with mushroom and bacon, this all came with a side of red cabbage, mange tout, carrots and an in credible potatoes dish that was so buttery with cream and cheese. Pudding we shared a tart au citron and chocolate brownie both were very good. Over all we loved it but ate far to much, so much my stomach hurt. Will visit again.
