I rarely leave a negative review, but this experience warrants it. The dining area is so dark you can’t see your plate and the hallway to find the bathroom is very dark. With food allergies, this could be an even bigger issue. Salsas were great which is why I’m giving it 2 stars. We wanted to like it but won’t be back. Hopefully your experience is better!

My experience was consistent with other low rating reviews. I waited an extra 10 minutes for my food compared to my peers yet my food was cold. The lack of lighting and cleanliness was also notable. Unfortunately I spent 2 days out of commission after eating here. As cool as the place is, I won’t be back.

The drinks were strong and the vibes were stronger! Honestly, this place was so great! Nina and Katy talked to us all night, everyone there was so SO friendly. Everywhere you looked there was something cool to see. It seems like a random but it’s the kind of chaos that promises a good night. Great food, only upset I got full before I could finish! Awesome awesome place!

food was awful. harassed at the end of our meal as it started raining outside and they insisted we waited outside until they brought the bill out to our table. not one of us could finish our plate, we are from california and enjoy truly authentic mexican food. this is not that. expensive and not worth it

Cool vibe for sure. Unfortunately my grilled fish tacos were a let down. The tortillas were cold and the fish was flavorless. I only ate one and didn’t particularly enjoy it. My daughter got a deep fried burrito. It was good however upset her stomach pretty bad a few hours later. She also asked for a virgin margarita or dacurri and the bartender was not able to make either one. We were told they could mix some juice together. Lol. Every restaurant with a bar should offer mocktails and have a bartender who knows how to make them. This was disappointing. The vibe is cool but I overall the food is what matters most and I was not impressed.

Best Tex Mex I’ve ever had. Been coming here sporadically (I rarely eat out) for years. My most excellent server Ava (?) was very accommodating and attentive to my wheat sensitivities and was able to tailor a dish to my dietary needs by swapping out flour for corn. No other Mexican restaurant has been wiling to do that! Chef’s kiss! Can’t wait to come back for more yum.

My friend wanted to eat here, so we tried it for the first time. I have never had worse Mexican food. I got the chicken burrito Gordo and it was not topped with chile con queso. It was covered in hardened dried yellow cheese with salsa on top. It never mentioned red salsa on top of it. The insides were just so gross and slimy. The waitress forgot one persons chicken quesadilla. Nobody got straws. None of the waters had ice and one of the waters was placed down only half full.
We also asked what they had for desserts and she was like it’s a tortilla covered in cinnamon and ice cream and we said oh it’s called a sopaiplla and she was like “oh, I don’t care” and was super dismissive.
Just about any other Mexican restaurant in town will be higher quality, lower priced, with bigger portions.
We will never come back and warn others about how awful it was. Taco Bell is even better than what they serve here at a fraction of the cost.

Love this place! The skinny margaritas are perfect, the red salsa is super flavorful, and their weekly specials are always creative and delicious. My go-to Tex-Mex spot!
