Our experience with Driss was incredible.
It started with a complementary cup of tea and a sparkling smile. Driss was kind and the food was wonderful. We ordered eight kebabs for five people, and he handled our order with care. Each of us chose different sauces, which he applied aptly and even showed us his technique! I hungrily await my return!

The owner of this establishment was welcoming, warm, and friendly to us even though we spoke no French. We ordered the lamb tangine and chicken couscous. The food warmed our bellies and was as authentic as you can find in Morocco. It was not fancy, but it was tasty, served hot, and filled us up. The owner also brought us mint tea and a nice nutty dessert. Seemed like all the neighbors were hanging out in the restaurant watching a France football match against the Netherlands. They are all smiles and friendly as well.

We arrived in Pauillac and because it was Easter Sunday virtually every restaurant was closed. So we found this place and it was such a gem! The lamb tagine was amazing, couscous was fabulous. Owner was very kind and patient with our lack of French. It is a humble looking spot but the food is top notch. Highly recommend.

Super cosy pop-shop run all alone by Monsieur Drizz. We came in a group of 8 and got served our food in hearty family-style plates. Tasty tangine. Would come here often if I stayed in the area, reminds me of home.

The owner was very friendly, welcoming, and with a great sense of humour. In addition to the really nice tajines that we ordered, he kindly offered us some other delicious snacks that we enjoyed fully. Definitely recommend on any day of the week but especially on Monday when most of the other places are closed in Pauillac.

After a winery visit, we wandered into sleepy Pauillac for lunch thinking we would have something simple. The reviews drew us in, and while hesitant, we went in. The place is simple. clean, and the owner shows all of his love and passion through simple clean and delicious foods. We asked him simply for his specialties, as he had little English, and wow did he deliver. Lamb tagine and chicken couscous – prelude was a simple salad, and dessert was WOW! fresh made sweets I don’t have a name for. Just can’t say enough.
