Cannot say enough about how awesome this place is!! The building itself is absolutely stunning and the food is phenomenal for an affordable price. You get to see, pick and inspect your cut of meat, then it’s prepared and cooked over an open indoor wood fire by David himself, such a lovely guy and a great chef! Very highly recommended for all meat lovers. We had a 250g rump steak (fillet faux) which came with house skin on fries and a mixed leaf salad and dressing. We added a roquefort cheese sauce for 2€ which was sublime! For dessert (don’t know how we managed it!) we chose the chocolate fondant with cognac cream, sweet lord it was insane!!! Needless to say, we rolled out of there and would definitely go back again. One bit of advice, wear some stretchy trousers, because you’ll need them after!!

Wonderful restaurant off the beaten path. We decided to avoid the autoroute and take the scenic route. We were a bit hungry for lunch and found Chez David and decided to stop. What a wonderful surprise!
Very nice restaurant with a great menu. Be warned that this is primarily a meat restaurant and the portions are generous.
Well worth the stop along the way! Excellent service and great atmosphere. Highly recommended!!

The place is very nice and very busy, I recommend to book a table before going.
The service super good, u can see and choose the meat that you want to eat.

4 ans à se décider d y aller, et mon dieu, pourquoi ne pas l avoir fait avant, de A jusqu a Z rien a dire, le personnel est adorable, le patron David est au petit soin avec les clients, et la nourriture est comment dire, juste excellente, et cuite a votre guise, un beau choix d apéritif, de vin, de digestif, et les portions sont très bien.

J’ai connu ce restaurant grâce au bouche-à-oreille. L’accueil est chaleureux. La viande qui nous est présentée avant cuisson est de qualité, et cuite au feu de bois par le patron. Les frites sont faites maison. Les portions sont généreuses.
Bref rien à redire tout est parfait.
