Gretat place! They make crêpes, breakfasts, croissants etc. Extremely good food. Super friendly French owner and staff! They make their own fries every day (not frozen) and everything tastar amazing! We got a breakfast (eggs, bacon) and a crepe with basil, tomato, mozzarella. Everything super good. From an European, this place is legit!

My daughter enthusiastically declared it was the best escargot she’s ever tasted, beautifully flavored and perfectly cooked. At the same time, I can’t stop raving about the rich, savory shrimp crepes bursting with flavor! They even treat you to a delightful complimentary appetizer to kick off your meal, which adds such a lovely touch to the dining experience! Just a little tip—they’re only open for Saturday dinner, so plan accordingly. This hidden gem has a loyal crowd of regulars, and it’s easy to see why—David ensures everyone leaves their bellies full and happy! This place is absolutely incredible, a rare gem! David the owner was so kind, welcoming and delivered exceptional hospitality and service to our family. The breakfast croissants and sandwiches were delightful. We especially enjoyed the fresh, thinly sliced fries and the salad (amazing dressing) that came with our sandwiches. They have a large variety of French bakery items, desserts and pastries. They are open for dinner Saturdays only. We will be back again and again.

Cute bakery and cafe with very friendly service and great food. Brother enjoyed his egg white omelette and came with fresh fruit and a salad and toast. The baguettes are very crusty and tasty.

Salvation at last! David, owner of Chez David, has resurrected and elevated what the original Flying with Jerome owners had originally established. Being French, he knows how to deliver French! You could feel the difference when you walked into the restaurant. A much lighter, happier vibe and wonderful smells emanating from the kitchen. I ordered my old favorite–a ham and swiss crepe with side salad, which came with a surprisingly fantastic haystack of thin french fries that were delicious. The espresso drinks including the cafe au lait and machiatto we ordered were Europe-perfect as one should expect and it was delightful to see not only the return of an assortment of french pastries, but elevated to a new level of quality, size, and flavor. The staff are very friendly and attentive and we enjoyed a table-side chat with David himself, who is an absolute riot. If you abandoned Flying with Jerome when it changed hands, you will be excited to “return” to an authentic French cafe experience!

I had an exceptional experience at Chez David! The service was warm and friendly, making me feel right at home. The portions are incredibly generous—definitely big enough to share! The escargot was outstanding, a must-try! Just a heads up, they’re only open for dinner on Saturdays, so make a reservation. I absolutely loved the Mille Feuille; it was the perfect treat for an afternoon dinner. We even got a free starter, which was a pleasant surprise! I can’t wait to go back!

Nobody expects .. a French bistro on Belcher. Finally croissants that are airy and flaky, a baguette with a crust and packed with the nutty flavors of a long fermentation, eclairs that are not too sweet and filled with creme pat, and if you have a moment, take a seat and order from a disintively French menu. I only heard great things about the Saturday night specials but I might run into you one day.
I would like to see more vegetarian options on the menu and alcoholic beverages. I do like Ricard.

Wanted to love it since my I adore anything close to authentic. I really can’t express the disappointment felt when I tried the tasteless croissant and the sponge crepe. It’s Americanized use of low end ingredients under the guise of an actual culinary experience. My French relatives would disown me if I brought them in here.
