This place is incredibly racist. I was inside having a great time with several friends and my buddy pulled up who is African American and I went outside to meet him and when we tried coming in the bouncer claimed we were inside starting fights and were not allowed in/banned from the bar. Which was an insane accusation considering my buddy just got there and not a single person in the bar was fighting or causing issues from what I could see. We are both working professionals and well respected in the community. This place is a liability. It’s only one bouncer that acts this way all the time and I wish I knew the owner to report the bouncer cause he’s going to get the owner/bar in a lawsuit for discrimination eventually.

Had a great time there when they opened up their roof seating. Thank goodness they play more with than just country music. I love country music. Bar staff and security are friendly and fair

Came back in town to meet up with some of my buddies from the service after one of their weddings and I couldn’t believe what happened. They let me in with no problem (a white male) but my African American buddy wasn’t let in because of a bracelet that he ended up taking off after they stated that it was the issue. He had a button down shirt, khaki pants, and dress shoes…it sickens me that you guys are misrepresenting the people of Toledo. If I could give a 0 I would. Unbelievable. Veterans beware, these people are your typical “white power” guys who stumbled across a couple bucks. No respect for active duty or veterans if they aren’t white.

We’ve tried to come in here several times and every time they have a problem with someone in our group wearing a Nike shirt. Oddly enough any time we DO get in there’s always several people wearing Nike. They pick and choose who they want to let in.

I like to bring my dog here and sit on the rooftop patio. There is a bar up and restrooms up there. Good vibe.

I’m active duty military, and this bar tried to kick me out because people could not hold their liqour. I do not recommend going. Thank you for nothing, even fighting for your country.

My fiance and I have been to Chevy’s a handful of times and have always had a good time. Friendly and attentive bar staff, good prices and a cool decor. We ordered food last night for the first time, the bbq nacho plate to split based on recommendation from our barmaid and it was great. A large portion for the price and tasted great. I would definitely recommend checking out Chevy’s in downtown Toledo.

Great atmosphere and service. Even when they are slammed they can keep up with the service. Always a good time after a game.

would not recommend this bar one bit, the security guard checking ID’s at the door was extremely rude for absolutely no reason. He took my ID from me about 5 times, and kept acting like he didn’t want to give it back. Tin Can is much better and the security guards there are way cooler and less ugly

This is one of the most racist places I’ve ever been to. Bouncer gave my husband and his friend a hard time getting in but let me in without problem. The guy at the stairs said upstairs was at full capacity when we tried going up but let other people go up right in front of us. And when it was spoke about he said he was saving those spaces for them people. I’ll never go here again and unless your white This is not a place you will enjoy yourself at
