This place was absolutely amazing! The freshly made guacamole appetizer is a must, they make it fresh at your table, it is the best guacamole I have ever had. I also highly recommend the steak fajitas, even their salsa was pretty amazing. The whole family was impressed by this place. Also this place had a great dining atmosphere. Places like this don’t come along that often, it was a nice surprise to find this place.

Very true to the name fresh Mex. The chips and salsa are completely different than anything we have in our home area. Amazing flavor for the fish tacos. It was grilled salmon. The server was very sweet and checked on us a few times. Would recommend to anyone who likes Mexican cuisine.

I visited Chevys Fresh Mex in Bloomington, Minnesota for the second time and enjoyed the typical delicious Mexican cuisine. The location is very convenient, close to our hotel and within walking distance to the Mall of America. Although the interior appeared aged and the floors were greasy, the colorful Mexican-themed atmosphere was still enjoyable. We visited on a Saturday during happy hour, and I ordered the same delicious raspberry margarita. We also tried the Fresh Mex Sampler, and for my entrée, I enjoyed the “Best of the Best” mixed grilled fajitas. Overall, the food was great, and the tradition of celebrating a customer’s birthday with a song and small gift was a fun touch.

First time at Chevy’s and it won’t be my last! The unlimited salsa and chips is good enough to come back for, the fajita plate is delicious as well as the queso! I definitely recommend checking it out.

My friends and I had a ladies night last night and ordered from this restaurant. I had the Fantastic Farmers market platter. Delicious, it’s a vegetarian option and I was definitely impressed. Chips and queso was so tasty. Had a great first experience with a lot of food per person. Thank you

This place is truly the real deal. Drinks and food are top notch. But the atmosphere is family style mexican, so the $15 starting point for most entrees is a bit steep. Still worth it for a special occasion meal or a nice and unassuming night out.

The food here is good but once they brings you your food you won’t see the waitress come by again to refill your drinks. I had the mix grill fajita combo (steak, shrimps, chicken and pork) and a root beer. I needed a refill of my drink but the server never came back until the end to give you the check. Food is a bit expensive here.
