Delicious traditional Colombian food, the server was friendly and our food was delicious, I think there is always place for improvment, for instance my empanadas were cold inside and our arroz con pollo could be seasoned better. However, the arepas are delicous and the ajíaco was a good one too. I hope they keep growing as a business and I highly recommend them if you want to try true Colombian food.

We ordered the following dishes via Grubhub:
1.) Empanadas Fritas w/ meat $5.50:
• These were great, I would order these again, hands down. They were plump, and the portion size for $5.50 was great.
2.) Bandeja Paisa $25:
• Everything was great, though the highlight was the sausage(?) for me. Overall, the dish was filling.
3.) Arepas Rellena w/ Cheese & Pulled Pork $11:
• You can choose up to four ingredients to put “inside”; I was not sure what to expect, so I just chose cheese and pulled pork. In comparison to the empanadas fritas – I felt like the portion size was small.

I was there last Friday on Sep 29. My expectations were high. I love Colombian food. Growing up I visited many cities & tried amazing traditional Colombian dishes. This year during my trip to Santa Marta & Cartagena we truly enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, the food at Chevere Colombian restaurant was terrible. From presentation to flawless bandeja paisa. Expensive and bad food!!

Terrible! Esperamos a que llegara nuestro pedido a la mesa durante 2 horas y 10 minutos, lo único que llevaron fueron los “jugos” en mini vasos carísimos y sin sabor a fruta, cuando me acerque a preguntar que si se demorarían mucho tiempo más porque estábamos con niños y ya estaban desesperados del hambre, nadie sabía nada de mi pedido, el mesero que nos atendió no estaba, nadie se acercó durante ese tiempo a preguntarnos si queríamos algo.
Esperamos la comida porque entendemos que es un establecimiento nuevo y que empezar es difícil pero realmente fue un pésimo servicio, ni una cortesía del restaurante hubo después de toda la espera. Pague $29 por unos jugos horribles. Pésima experiencia.
