Our company has been ordering from Cheung’s Garden for many years — easily over a decade — and it has always been a reliable option for Chinese takeout.
This time we ordered lunch for the entire office, including chicken wings, boneless BBQ spare ribs, shredded pork with garlic sauce, and chicken with broccoli, along with several large bottles of soda. Overall, the food delivered exactly what you’d expect from classic Chinese takeout — familiar flavors, generous portions, and dishes that work well for group orders.
The chicken wings and boneless BBQ spare ribs were popular and well received, and the chicken with broccoli was solid and consistent. The shredded pork with garlic sauce, however, wasn’t as strong as the other dishes and felt a bit underwhelming compared to similar versions elsewhere.
That said, for office lunches and large group orders, Cheung’s Garden has been a dependable go-to for many years, and we’ll likely continue ordering from them.

Stopped by after work to pick up some Lo mein, shrimp fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. Let me tell you!
Their food, the atmosphere, the cleanliness and the service ALWAYS A1+.
I would never switch, and mind you I’m picky. I don’t eat Chinese food from everywhere, but my peoples in Cheung Garden. They will always have a special place in my heart.

Everlasting Happiness
I found a worm in the food, my 2 years old was eating white rice with Chinese vegetables and the shrimp had a black worm. To make sure I took a picture on google like what was that and that was a worm!!! The image likely shows a Chaetogaster worm, a type of freshwater segmented worm in the family Naididae. These tiny, transparent worms are common in freshwater environments, often found among aquatic plants or in sediments.
Rather saying sorry, the lady was so mean and said, don’t come to our store anymore. 12 years no one complained. And she was also shaking. What if my son had eaten it? Their attitude was so bad. The lady was screaming at me. I will have to call the food department. I want to also add the worm pictures, it says it is a fresh water worm

Very very good Chinese food. We tried this place at work looking for a new Chinese spot in the area. The service was super fast. Order was ready in under 10 minutes. The service was very good and the food was very tasty.
The general tsos chicken was very good with white meat chicken and a little kick of heat after.
The boneless spareribs were delicious and the sauce was very sweet
The chicken and broccoli was a fan favorite and everyone seemed to like it that got it.

I was traveling with my family of four on a Saturday to Tanger Outlet and made a wrong turn. While we were lost, we turned into a parking lot to make a U turn and we discovered Cheung’s Garden.
This place is AMAZING. We live in Manhattan so we’ve had a lot of Chinese food from different restaurants but this was hands down the best we’ve ever had. The General Tso Tofu was delicious!! That wasn’t even the best part, the service was so attentive. The owners were so nice and accommodating. Crazy to think about how a Chinese fast food restaurant in Long Island has way better service than a lot of well known places in the city.
If we lived closer we would definitely come back very often. They are awesome for having lunch specials even on Saturdays. Thank you again to Lin and his team for the amazing hospitality and delicious food. We will be back next time we’re in the area.

Most consistent Chinese takeout spot I’ve had. Food is always hot and fresh. Plenty of sauce with the dishes, some places are hit or miss with the amount of sauce in the dish. Usually come here for lunch because it’s local, but for now on when I am home and want some takeout I will drive the extra 15 minutes because it’s so worth it.

Honestly I would give this establishment 0 stars. Going off of the good reviews I was tricked into ordering. I placed the order and couldn’t decide between the butterfly shrimp and the fan tail shrimp. Not having the menu but still taking a chance I called to order telling the man who took the order I couldn’t decide. He never once corrected me as I ordered the fried scallop , shrimp and broccoli then wanting to ordered fried shrimp. He said fantail is fried and butterfly shrimp is egg foo young . I had this order delivered and then called on the phone stating that I got egg foo young. The lady there was belligerent over the phone , loud , yelling , telling me stop talking and listen to her.This made me and my boyfriend go to return the delivered food. This place was like a chinese restaurant in the hood with no customers , husband and wife I am guessing as the both greeted us yelling , pointing at the pictures on the menu . I then explained that it looks like egg foo young and i didn’t see any shrimp. Then told her when you google butterfly shrimp it shows fried large shrimp as i have ordered before from other chinese fast food restaurants. She got even more nasty and said don’t look at google and here take back your money and don’t order here anymore. I said gladly the food was horrible and had no taste. I can see why they were empty and they had to put their own reviews in to boost the scores. This is how you respond to first time customers. I have lived in this neighborhood for over 10 years and never have received horrible nasty service like this. I warn you do not order here! Save your money , I am also writing to the better business bureau and consumer complaint board. Lady your business needs to be in the hood not here, not with that attitude. The only reason I kept my composure while she yelled is because I am in law enforcement and viewed her as an emotionally disturbed person. This establishment will answer these reviews and argue , but customers are always right your nasty attitude and telling people don’t come back in Long Island will shut the business down and have customers give more bad reviews. No customers equal closed business. Please take some classes in hospitality and business.

Ms. Crystal and the team are AMAZING! I’ve been a customer here for about 4 months and come weekly…I’ve never had a complaint. Definitely the best Chinese food I’ve had in the area. Always fresh, always on time, and the service is fast and friendly. Try the boneless spare ribs or the Singapore Mei Fun (which they customize for me with extra ginger and garlic ), you can’t go wrong!

Every time I come in here with my family, we get FANTASTIC take out. And when I say every time, I mean it! We usually get chicken with broccoli, light sauce, along with some rice. And it’s always very delicious! I personally recommend the sesame chicken which we get with light sauce as well! The lady who runs the establishment has always been very kind for the many years we have come by. We see how incredibly hard she works to run her place of business, so for that we applaud her. The effort shown keep us coming back. JUST A 10/10 EXPERIENCE EVERY TIME!
