The hot dogs are decent. They use Schwab’s Chili which is really good. The hotdogs they are use pretty cheap. Super skinny and short. If they would use a quality hotdog it would be great. The service was good. The girl didn’t have any gloves on when she touched the bread. So I don’t know how sanitary the place is, which drops this from a 4 to a 3 star.

Trekking 30 miles off route to eat some of the best chili cheese dogs on this side of the country, no biggie to me. But when the service is not what you expect and the chili dogs are following the same suite, you become disappointed. I believe this is a 5 star establishment in the making but, I was treated with 2 star quality. After I tipped the lady she became nice. Unsure how that would change the initial service. Will update review on next visit.

Was in the area and heard about the place from family members. Surprisingly was a Super fantastic visit. The lady that helped us was part of the family run business. She answered all of my questions on the history of the place and I had a bunch of questions!!! She was very informative and also was our server. The record for chilli dogs was 24 and I got 6 down …. They were so delicious and I couldn’t have asked for a better lunch on this day. the Menu was simple and prices were really pretty reasonable. The side dishes you can choose from are simple. Bags of chips. Fountain drinks are an option also. I had water because I don’t drink pop. You can dress your dogs how you you want. ( Relish Cheese,Onion, Mustard) I am so impressed with how quaint the place is …. Maybe 6 stools at the counter and that is all. Made it cozy! If you are in the area and want to visit…. I suggest you make an appearance. The ice cream machine is getting fixed and I can hardly wait to visit when it’s fixed or Maybe I will visit the other location across town. I will return to see your smiling crew!!

If you want small town flavor and nostalgia, then Chet’s Dairy Freeze is the place to go! The original building from the 1950’s is tiny with only 6 stools at the counter. However, people drive from miles (and states) around to eat here! Chet’s still make their hot dogs in an old fashioned steamer with steamed buns! Cheese whiz, mustard, relish, minced onions, and chili create a flavor that is beyond compare! Excellent Dr Pepper, chips, and hot dogs! You can NEVER go wrong with Chet’s!

The best chili dog I have ever eaten! REALLY! Simple yet exceeds all expectation. Love everything about Chet’s from the hotdogs to the price, from the location to the employee who makes your chili dog. A true gem!

This is for east side location. The employees need some serious food safety training. The only employee there on a Sunday afternoon was using the same spoon for the room temperature liquid cheese, (where is the real shredded cheese?) mustard, relish, and onions. When she took a steamed bun from the steamer she tore a piece of it off and was going to use it until I told her I wanted a different bun. When I asked her about cross contamination from using the same spoon for everything she said there was no problem with using the same spoon. If this is the best Hot Dogs in Muskogee I would hate to try another Hot Dog place in Muskogee.
