Was looking for a home town type of diner. This place was really nice. It is clean and the food was really good. The portions are a good size. The waitress was really nice and kept and eye on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. Definitely highly recommend this place.

The food here was amazing. One of the best diner meals I’ve had. My favorite dish was the Mexican Burger. It was packed with flavor with jalapeño peppers inside the burger and pickles on the side
The only thing I didn’t really like was that the buns were a little too big. But overall the burger was still fantastic.
The staff was very nice and welcoming and the overall experience was great. I would definitely come back here to eat again.
Overall I’d rate this place a 9.5/10 and highly recommend it

We were camping for memorial day weekend and stopped in for some breakfast, glad we did! The place was very clean. Everyone was very friendly. Our waitress was a sweetheart, very tentative. We ordered the blueberry pancakes, biscuits & gravy, and an omelette. All were great! The prices were also really good, we spent like $35 for all three things. We will definitely be back when we’re in the area!

I’m a local and often come to Chestnut Hill Diner for brunch with my husband and family when they’re visiting from New York. We’re frequently there with kids—sometimes just my son, sometimes my nephews—and the staff has always been friendly and accommodating.
They consistently bring my son a kids’ placemat with crayons and offer him a child-friendly cup for water. On one visit, when we had close to ten people, they went out of their way to set us up with a large, comfortable table, which was really appreciated.
The food is always excellent. I’m especially partial to the Eggs Benedict—it’s just that good—but everyone else in our group usually orders something different, and the feedback is always positive. The staff treats you like family, keeps the coffee refilled, and regularly checks in to see if you need anything.
Local or visiting, it’s worth a stop — good food, hot coffee, and attentive service.

This diner has a really cozy vibe that you’d expect from a small town. I’m from a big city so diners where I’m from don’t have that same feel so it was well received. The service was really good and the food was all tasty. Huge portions so make sure you’re hungry or bring it home.
Everything came out quickly and the presentation was simple and beautiful. Definitely check it out if you’re in that area.

Great hometown dinner. I ordered the meatball sandwich which comes with fries and then added the coleslaw. The sandwich is a solid 4 but was just lacking a bit more sauce.
The atmosphere is perfect for a diner. They have a couple displays full of desserts which look fantastic- I was just too full to try them.
Service is great. Everyone was very attentive and helpful. No complaints whatsoever.
Would definitely recommend !

Lunch date with my little one. Service was quick and food was hot at arrival. Chocolate pie freshly baked yesterday recommended for chocolate fanatics only! Overall if we are in town again we will stop in for another bite. I can’t give service five stars waiter was missing in action at the end. Dessert was way too sweet however, I think chocolate fanatics would enjoy the abundance of chocolate in it. Make it make sense right, I’m sure you’re thinking hey you ordered a chocolate pie what did you expect? If you know you know

It’s a 50/50 review, table of 11 or 12 for dinner. 2 got primarily instead of ribeye steak-their review was not good, they added mushrooms, horseradish and steak sauce and said it had no flavor. Everyone else had burgers, sandwiches, etc with no issues and liked their food. Someone mentioned that dinner came with desert yet we’re charged 6.99 for some sugar free cheese cake. All in all it seems to be a hit or miss on the menu. I myself had the full rack of ribs and took 2/3s of it home, they were great.

Had a good breakfast, eggs, sausage, potatoes and rye toast. When went to pay check I ask if they do military discount, cashier responded that only on Monday thru Thursday and excluding holidays. I’m a 75 year old Vietnam veteran, served 4 yrs active duty and now I’m a veteran 24/7, not just Monday thru Thursday. Veterans and active military should be recognized every day for the freedom you have. Will not patronize this business in the future.
