This is a nice place to dine. Ashlee J provided great service. Friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable about the menu. The blackened prime rib (ordered medium rare) was super juicy and tender on one half, but a little dry/tougher on the other half. They serve it with a creamy horseradish, but they have raw horseradish they can bring out (recommended). Their baked potatoes were real good, with a nice crispy skin, not the steamed mess you get at some places. Overall, I would say it is worth giving it a try.

You can tell they take pride in the business
Food is consistent each time we frequented. Tonight we had Kacie as our waitress. As busy as she was, she was fantastic! Friendly, professional and attentive. I highly recommend trying this place if you’re in town! Good job Kacie for making our night out extra enjoyable!

10/10 recommend the fried green tomato BLT club and the sweet potato fries! Best sweet potato fries I have ever had. The sandwich was amazing. The clam chowder was good too and I loved their sourdough bread. Our server Roxanne was very attentive and took great care of us!

Amazing steaks and an overall great experience we had with our lunch. Our lunch had a Sirloin and a Ribeye and both the pieces were medium well done as per our liking and was delicious. The staff was very warm as well. They offered us an complimentary desert that is the cheesecake which was simply amazing. DO VISIT and enjoy your steaks here…

We were a party of five. No reservations, showed up at 6:30 on a Wednesday, and were given seats immediately. Ashley was our server. She was fabulous: friendly, very attentive, accurate with our orders and all around an excellent server. Our food was excellent as well. Really enjoyed the experience and we highly recommend this place for fine dining.

For great food in a family friendly environment, you must try Chestnut Grill. There is normally not a long wait and the staff are super friendly. The restaurant has been around for a while and could use some upgrades but the food is always fresh and flavorful. I would highly recommend the soups and the fried green tomatoes. The pork chops use to be my favorite but they have switched to small thin pork chops instead of the thicker cut choice that tastes way better. The seafood platter is always a hit. Definitely grab dessert if you have room for it.

Anything that surprises me gets 4 to 5 stars. The outside of the building looks a little run-down and kind of an older neighborhood but the inside was very fresh and looks to have been renovated fairly recently. We were seated pretty quickly and the staff was very polite. I ordered the black and blue New York strip which comes with a blue cheese crumble as well as the tortilla soup. My wife ordered the chicken salad croissant. I also had the tortilla soup and fresh croissants with honey. Both were good.
my steak was an average cut of meat. It was cooked well but a little bit grisly at the end. Overall not bad. The wife’s chicken salad sandwich was very good but her onion rings were a little cold. Overall I would rate this a good experience and I would come back if I was in the area.
