This is one fantastic drive in. I grew up area, and came here as much as possible. Now, i live over 2 hours away and try to get back 2-3 times a season. Your choice from hamburgers, steak sandwich (ground up steak meat and made into patties), grilled chicken, etc., you will not be disappointed whatsoever you order. All served on a hard roll and lots of butter. Their sides are also great. Don’t forget to get their root beer (take a gallon home with you).

So stinking cute and old fashioned. I got a cheeseburger and a shake. Food came out quick! Service was perfect and if I lived closer I’d go back in a heartbeat. ***Nostalgia***

Very disappointed! Ordered ahead of time and was told 10 minutes. When we got there, we waited another 15 minutes, which is understandable when a restaurant is busy. I live 5 minutes away. By the time we got home with our food, it was cold and not fresh. The fries were soggy and not cooked all the way through. The burgers must have been precooked because the butter was unmelted. It was disgusting and a waste of money. Unfortunately, I had an experience like this last year. I will think twice before visiting this restaurant again. It’s really gone downhill.

I am Wisconsin for work and a coworker suggested I try the burger at Chesters. I told the car hop I was an out of towner and to just give me the two most ordered items like they would normally come but with no tomato. She brought me a burger and a brat. The brat was okay but that burger was definitely one of the best I ever had. It has a charcoal grilled taste and I assume it was. Beware though that they don’t use mayonnaise, it’s butter. And it was delicious!! They also do not accept card. It’s cash or check only. Good thing I had my check book! I paid $11.32 for the burger and brat and I gave her the only cash I had for a $3 tip. I will definitely be returning before going back home.

This place has very good burgers. I liked the drive-in style. The wait staff was quick and friendly. I really enjoyed the food and service. Priced reasonably too.

It’s a fun experience. Though $4.75 for 6 mini corn dogs is questionable. Me and my bf were splitting them. We each ate 3. At certain restaurants, you learn not to order certain items.
Good staff and a quick stop after a roadtrip.

There aren’t many places like these anymore & that’s a shame. A good old-timey drive in with great food & fair prices. They make their own root beer. Great burgers, fries & curds. A classic.

Chester’s is amazing!! Wish I lived closer! Excellent food and friendly service! The burgers are buttery-delicious, good stick-thin fries, fabulous ice cream!! Try their root beer- it is one of the beat out there! They have root beer floats and a blended root beer float thing and they are all so good!

My new favorite burger joint! Great gluten free bun that doesn’t fall apart (like that other one that starts with a Cu…). And the fries are the best I have ever had. Shoestrings that are crispy outside soft inside. Can’t wait to try their soft serve Orange and Vanilla twist!

Trash service!! Asked for a min to look over the menu. Took about 20 min until we decided to leave, we saw the server help 4 other new customers. Made direct eye contact with all 3 servers and still no help… So we just left. Culvers is better anyway
