And what’s up with the owners response to every Krispy Krunchy Chicken review?!?! Responding we are glad you had a good experience to a negative 1 star rreview?
Original review:
Used to be Krispy Krunchy Chicken. Chester’s now. Most of the menu seems the same but things have REALLY changed.
Chicken is still just as good. Barbeque sauce is pretty good but not as good. Mashed potatoes are good but not as good. Biscuits are not near as good…. like KFC with honey on top but before they were unique and worth going here just to get. HONESTLY, the bisquits were what we were going here for…. so that could be an issue. Don’t get me wrong, they are good, but if you remember the old ones…. Mac and cheese wasn’t very good at all either. Still need to try other things. Overall the food is still good and you should come support this local business owner but we also need to be honest customers if want to see progress and success.
It seems to be perpetually understaffed. We had to wait for a while after the food to get our sodas and then wait even longer for water….until after other people were served. The water and soda could have been provided immediately after checkout or actually with the food and certainly we should have not had to wait longer and ask multiple times for the cups water. We bought $38 worth food, and the water was meant to be WITH the meal. One employee/owner only so it’s almost like everything is made to order but it also means wait times are longer.
The food is good and the employees are very nice but I’d like to see at least two people behind the counter… seems one isn’t going to lead to success. You can’t possibly grow if you aren’t staffed enough to meet demand.
