The Story of Chester’s Why are we called CHESTER’S? It’s not because the owners name is Chester. Moat people have there own name for him.. The actual reason for the name of Chester’s is the owner has this obsession with PIGS What does a pug have to do with it you may ask? One day the owner & his lovely sidekick were road tripping & trying to come up with a name. She asked what do you another breed want the theme of the bar to be? He said PIGS She said what is your favorite breed of pigs? He said DUROC (the red ones) DUROCS was not very appealing what’s another breed he thought about it and came up with Chester white. This pig is just plain old white & not real pretty. But we thought the name Chester’s was kind of catchy.

It good bar for a small town. I love the bartenders,they so nice and sweet. I stop here at 11pm today and they still serving food, even they have to turn back on the kitchen again!! That impressive for me.

We came into town for our grandson football game and were early so we stopped in to Chester’s for a cold one, we noticed the menu and brought the family in after the game. Everyone was so friendly and the food and service were great. There was 10 of us and we all enjoyed our choices. Can’t go wrong with food here!

Walking in this place, everyone was so friendly and happy! Sat at the bar, before I was even seated the bartender was asking what I would like. I had a rum and come, perfect amount of rum with the coke, very fresh limes upon request! My friend had a Bud Heavy! Said it was very cold and refreshing! We did eat, I had the 12oz Ribeye, it was cooked to PERFECTION!!! Along side I had very hot crispy French fries, and a side salad, it also came with a side of toast! My friend had a Cheeseburger Delux with onion rings! He said the onion rings were perfect, he said the tomatoes in his cheeseburger tasted like they were fresh out of the garden, which later we learned they in fact are! Everything was decently priced, very quick friendly service!! They have a pretty cool large table next to the pool table with HUGE rocking chairs! Bathrooms were very clean. Overall I had an amazing experience! I will definitely be back in the future!! Thanks Chester’s that was an amazing steak dinner!
