This GEM! Totally worth making the trip to downtown Portland. Open up with delicious coffee and teas, served with delicious beignets. Our party picked up the delicious Portuguese Fried Rice, savory Ed’s Scramble, and uniquely and tasty Apple Frittwich. All of the food was phenomenal! Our hostess was polite and attentive. I really appreciated her not trying to sell anything she hadn’t tried and giving honest feedback on things she had experienced. The dining area is a huge, fun, maze with turns around every corner. Recommend reservations, saved us some time in line on a busy Sunday. Most definitely will be back!

Finally an enjoyable and peaceful downtown Portland experience for breakfast. Such a great atmosphere and the food is quality with unique flavors that make it so memorable. The service was slightly lacking, but they were busy and had just expanded to the space behind them so I won’t knock them too hard for it. I got the Croque Monsieur with the side of Cheesy Hash Browns. The sandwich was great with quality cheese, and bread that was absolutely delicious. The hash browns are a must have here, they are creamy and make for a perfect side. Totally recommend.

Great american brunch spot with a few twists. We can’t at peak brunch hour and got seated very quickly. The service was so good, and our server was so sweet. We were delighted with complementary beignets, 1 each. It was flaky soft warm and sweet. I got the dirty chai iced, which felt very milky and needed more Chai. For appetizers, we ordered 2 lemon parm artichoke. It’s 1 per order, so we got 2, and it’s so delicious. I wouldn’t have thought it was artichoke. For main, we ordered the apple frittwich with bacon to counter the sweet. For anyone loving sweet and salty, this is your move. 2nd dish, we got the croque monsieur. We got a side of the roast potatoes and one with hash. Both are absolutely stunning. They have the seasoning ratios perfect. Corn flake on the cheese hash- chef kiss.

We stumbled upon this cute place in our Portland adventure this weekend. We ordered the huevos rancheros and the fritter fried sandwich! So flavorful and delicious! Coffee was great and arrive was awesome! We will definitely be back to try more!

Let me begin we were new to Portland trying to find a place to eat for lunch . Our server Beth was amazing and I would highly recommend that you ask for her. Instead of bread the place serves as a complimentary appetizer Beignets that are “good”fluffy cinnamon taste that is not sweet. Let me begin with the best which was the cauliflower dish and everyone loved it. The salad, curry bowl, pork belly bowl, apple fritter breakfast , hamburgers were all “ok” . The mix drinks were ok and I had to request a regular dry martini because the orange blood martini was basically a too sweet cocktail . My 4 year old niece was happy with her pancakes so I am happy. We parked in the garage across the street which was about $10 for the couple of hours we were there on a Friday afternoon. Street parking is available but you have to search.

Long wait for table. After that we were seated next to a cabinet which held drinks. So had to get up when they needed something. Our waitress was good but rushed. French Toast was ok with eggs. Chai was weak. Complimentary Beignets were good.

We came here after visiting the Japanese Garden and Rose Garden for lunch. We took an uber here so we didn’t have to look for parking. We arrived around lunch time and they didn’t look busy. They were able to sit us right away, they seated us on the lower level. Our waitress came and introduce herself and asked if we had any questions. She personally recommended their Fried Rice. I went with the Breakfast Burrito and my wife went with their Chili & Chesee Omelet. They also give us a compliment bread that tasted like churros. Our food came out quick and we were ready to dig in. I thought my breakfast burrito with bacon was delicious and all I thought that was missing was some salsa. My wife loved her omlete and she also got the Chai Latte here as well. Our dining experience was terrific and I would highly recommend coming here.

Cheryl’s on 12th is an absolute gem tucked away in the heart of Portland, Oregon. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat. The cozy and inviting atmosphere combined with the mouthwatering banana pancakes and extra crispy bacon made this dining experience truly exceptional.

This was truly one of the better dining experiences I’ve ever had. I found it because I was staying at a hotel like two blocks away. I was dining alone so I got a bar seat that overlooks where they cook, some people might hate this but I love a meal and a show. They cooks gave me samples of their fried rice and beignets. Both were incredible. I had the yummiest espresso martini that had chocolate and hazelnut in it. The crab benny was INSANE. Amazing service. Amazing food. I love the little samples, great touch. Cannot recommend this place enough.
